In the bed I was uncovered and cuddling into her. She was so cold and I was so warm, I wanted to close the windows for her, but she insisted me not too. I felt her cool fingers running down my bare chest.Jess: Go to sleep, you've had a long day.My eyes were drooping, Joe: I love you.Jess: I know. I love you too.And thats the last I remember of that night, I didn't even dream. Just slept.

(I woke in the middle of the night to wear a whimpering sound. I creeped out of my bunk to investigate. It was coming from one of bunks. Someone was obviously crying. I pulled back the blind of the bunk and saw Demi and Emily. I thought of waking Nick, but seeing me at this hour of the night and being in the situation I'm with him at the moment, I decided against it. Demi smiled to me. She was comforting Emily who was sobbing completley uncontrollably. She hadn't seen me since she was face down in the pillow.)Demi: I don't know what's wrong. She won't tell me.Joe: You go and get yourself some sleep.Demi: Thanks Joe.(Demi jumped down from Emily's top bunk and then hopped into her own, before closing her blind. I pulled myself up into Emily's bunk. She was still crying as I began stroking her hair.)Joe: Hey, what's wrong?(She rolled over and looked up at me, her eyes were red and her cheeks were wet with tears.)Emily: Joe?(I now lay down beside her so my eye level was with hers. She was still crying, just silently now. I pushed a loose strand of hair behind her ear. She smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek. Her hand reached out and touched my face. She stroked my cheek with the back of her hand. Our faces were close already, but when she closed the gap with her lips, was shocked. I pushed her away, as much as I didn't want to.)Joe: Emily, you're not realising what you're doing. You're confused and upset. Ashley and Jaylee were best friends, despite the age difference. Taylor was their other BFF. Where ever you saw one of them, the others werent too far away. Taylor was already out of school, though. She was 20 and enrolled in classes at the local community college. The girls were always out doing something together. When they had time to do something, they usually either went play tennis or golf. Jaylee was the competitive one though. She played softball and basketball for Wyckoff High. It was really hard for her because she had cheerleading and she was trying to keep a 4.0 GPA. Ashley had a full paid scholarship to a college of her choice. She wanted to be a Residential Planner, just like Ron Dayan. He was The Interior Designer for the Rich and Famous. She hoped to study the Vatican in Italy just like he did. She planned to move to California after high school, and Brad was going to go with her. Brad was her boyfriend. He had a scholarship to Cal State. Jaylees boyfriend, Kody was a senior and she didnt know what she was going to do when he left for Cal State. She was so in love with him and she never could have imagined anyone better than him. Taylor was too worried about her nursing career to even think about a boyfriend. Those three girls were the best of friends and inseperable. They promised themselves that they would let nothing come between them.
