this problem first happened after i upgraded my graphics card from 8600GTS to 9800GTX+. it happens in game aswell but you can see it clearer in the menus. i thought maybe it was a problem with the card but after plugging into another monitor, there were no horizontal lines. so it is the monitor or my settings.

nVidia launched 9600 GT and will announce 9800 GTX si GT !
The launching of the graphics card nVidia GeForce 9600 GT was today, 21st february. This card promises with 90% better than GeForce 8600 GTS. It is equiped with 512 MB DDR3 memory and will cost no more than 200 $. I think is very cheap but if they say so it means that is true. nVidia company is prepared to announce GeForce 9800 GX2.
