Several days ago, the Associated Press reported that the Yemeni authorities detained six Iranian Baha’is, for allegedly belonging to a rebel group. The news came as surprising to many; Yemen had provided a relatively safer haven for Baha’is to freely practice their faith.

On June 12, 2008 in Toronto, Ontario MPPs voted unanimously to maintain the traditional Lord's prayer but will add a moment of silence for non-believers and a rotation of Buddhist, Hindu, Islamic, Jewish, Baha'i, Sikh and First Nations' prayers to ensure that public institutions reflect modern values and beliefs (choices based on Ontario census).

They also have the Holy books of Bahai, Buddhism, Confucianism, Hinduism, Jainism, Judaism, Shinto, Sikhism, Taoism, and Zoroastrianism.
