Another part of the Les Gladiateurs spectacle in the historical theme park at Puy du Fou is the chariot race. The White team has to win, since he's the legionary who revealed his Christian roots to Emperor Diocletian and now has to win all games in order to be exempted from capital punishment - or so the story goes. Hence, he receives an amiable applause from the crowd, whereas the other color-coded teams are arguably no favourites for the title. Watch and behold the Christian undertaking his ride to life and freedom.About Puy du Fou"Puy du Fou is a historical theme park in Les Epesses in the heart of the Vendée region of Western France. The park brings in some 1.2 million visitors every year, making it the second most popular attraction in France after Euro Disney[1]. (...) Gladiators is set in a replica of an amphitheater that is 115 meters long and 75 meters wide and recreated the atmosphere of Gaul during Roman times. It features a traditional parade of people and animals, gladiatorial combat, chariot racing and executions. It is set during the time of Diocletian, when there was great unrest."~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puy_du_FouAbout chariot racing"Chariot racing (Greek: ἁρματοδρομία/armatodromia) was one of the most popular ancient Greek, Roman and Byzantine sports. Chariot racing was often dangerous to both drivers and horses—they frequently suffered serious injury and even death—but generated strong spectator enthusiasm. In the ancient Olympic Games, as well as the other Panhellenic Games, the sport was one of the most important equestrian events. In the Roman form of chariot racing, teams represented different groups of financial backers and sometimes competed for the services of particularly skilled drivers. These teams became the focus of intense support among spectators, and occasional disturbances broke out between followers of different factions. The conflicts sometimes became politicized, as the sport began to transcend the races themselves and started to affect society overall. This helps explain why Roman and later Byzantine emperors took control of the teams and appointed many officials to oversee them. The sport faded in importance after the fall of Rome in the West, surviving only for a time in the Byzantine Empire, where the traditional Roman factions continued to play a prominent role for some time, gaining influence in political matters. Their rivalry culminated in the Nika riots, which marked the gradual decline of the sport."~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chariot_racingDevice usedSony Ericsson K850i

This is another clip shot in the historical theme park at Puy du Fou, showcasing its main act: les Gladiateurs. The spectacle lasts for nearly 45 minutes, and draws a lot of attention from the visitors of the park because it's only held twice a day. The show consists of torture of christians and the victory of Christendom (which is the main storyline), a parade of people of animals displaying the economical prowess of the vast Imperium (shown here), chariot racing (link), and gladiator fights against animals and one another. The parade is made up of all kinds of people, animals, and wares from all corners of the then-known world. First up is Roman centurion (commander of a hundred soldiers), followed consecutively by his lieutenant, three aquilifers (or, standard bearers carrying the Roman eagle, a tremendously prestigious position within the Roman legions), Roman legionaries in the common testudo formation (a very popular and effective tactic used by Roman soldiers across the Antiquity), two men carrying the she-wolf that suckled Romulus and Remus (thus symbolysing the very beginning of the city of Rome itself), a couple of cornicens (hornblowers, which are an excellent example of the splendid Roman military organization), a family of slaves (the economic basis of both Republic and Empire), the geese of the Capitoline Hill (who, according to legend, saved this last standing part of Rome from the raiding Gauls in 390 BC), a car carrying Dyonisos and his servants (the god of wine), an animal carrying a piece of clothing showing the all-important characters "SPQR" (senatus populusque romanus, referring to the government of the Roman Republic), emus from Upper Aegyptus, and - lastly - some camels.About Puy du Fou"Puy du Fou is a historical theme park in Les Epesses in the heart of the Vendée region of Western France. It took place under the Emperor Diocletian, and lasted eight years.[1] It peaked in 303. Manichaeans were also targeted by the Roman authorities in this period."~ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diocletianic_PersecutionDevice usedSony Ericsson K850i

Me and my associate, Simon, performing a sword fight rehearsal for a local musical / re-enactment upheld on the Island of Malta. The performance, deals with the famous Great Siege of 1565, where supposedly the Grand Turk of the Ottoman Empire Suleiman I, sent 40000 troops to invade Malta , then a major southern border of Christendom. The Island was defended by the noble Knights of St. John, then only 600, with the help of around 6000-7000 Locals to defend the minute island. The end result was a decisive victory with major causalities for the Ottomans, and the siege was lifted after roughly 3 months.

Twice before leaving for the USA in May and twice whilst there I heard different people pronounce the church dead. Knowing a little about each of these people and their journey I know they were talking about the death of mainstream church as we know it - the so-called Christendom church which takes its place at the centre of western power strctrs.

By Llewellyn King/The third-largest denomination in Christendom after the Roman Catholics and the Eastern Orthodox Church, the 70-million-strong Anglican Communion is in chaos. In fact, the Anglicans, also known as Episcopalians and, in Britain, and the Church of England, are being torn apart as they began, with a row over sex.

Daar heers groot verwarring in die Christendom oor die beheer van God. Mense word geleer dat God in beheer is van alles wat gebeur, en daarmee bedoel hulle dat God letterlik alles wat gebeur deur sy beskikking laat gebeur.

The period from the late tenth to the early fourteenth centuries was one of the most dynamic in European history. Latin Christendom found a new confidence which has left its mark upon the landscape in the form of the great cathedrals and castles, while thousands of new towns and villages were founded.

They are now trying to SILENCE our Church Bells ! Yes the British Political Correct Brigade say the bells in Great Britain that have been ringing over Christendom for centuries are too noisy. But it is ok to listen to the loudspeakers of wailing sounds that are called a "call to prayer" 7 times a day!

You've got to hear this from a former Marxist. "Marxism is a declaration of war against God and the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is all-out warfare against the truth". They said, 'We cannot tolerate the culture of the West -- the culture of Christendom -- so we have to turn it on its head and create a culture that's anti-Western and anti-Christian.

A review of "The Next Christendom: The Coming of Global Christianity" (Revised and Expanded Edition), by Philip Jenkins. Christianity is growing and is becoming more conservative. The core of Christianity has moved to the Southern Hemisphere, and the southern Christians are coming to the old traditional but dying Christian base, the North.
