High School Musical - Live On Stage!

London: 5 July 2008A long way off patch today; in Hammersmith at the Apollo Theatre for a musical's premiere. High School Musical is one of the most popular shows going. It's the live show not the film but a red carpet is a red carpet nevertheless and needs to be covered. I sat alone for most of the day, guess the fans had other plans. It livened up as the celebs arrived, those fans that did get there were richly rewarded with pictures, autographs and chats with the celebs. Lots of families coming to see the show so I expect lots of singing and shouting once the show gets underway. We were entertained by ball tricks and cheers leaders and as it was a glorious day there was a great atmosphere. Introducing 8-ROT -- 8-ball & 9-ball pool run practice game

8-ROT is a break & run practice game created by Colin Mazaika. It's a call shot (no slop) game that combines 8-ball and rotation ("9-ball") played with a cue ball and 15 object balls. The object of the game is to first run (either stripes or solids) as in a regular 8-ball game. One point is scored after the 8 ball is pocketed. The remaining balls are then played in rotation (as in 9-ball, caroms and combos are allowed as long as the low ball is hit first). Maximum score per inning is 2 points -- one point for the 8-ball run, and one point for the rotation. A match is played in 10 innings, making the maximum score 20 points. A miss is a loss of game, hence, the inning ends after finishing a rack or missing a shot. After the break, the table is always open -- whether balls were pocketed or not, the player continues to shoot. If a player scratches on the break or doesn't like the layout immediately after the break, the player has the option for one re-rack. Save when prompted to begin the flipside phase of this section. You're trapped in a prison cell. Try wandering around until you are introduced to Midna, a Twilight being who becomes your constant companion throughout the game. She is similar to other Zelda game companions, but this one is no fairy! She will break your leg shackle, allowing you to move. Beat up the boxes in the corner of the cell, then dig through the hole left behind to escape. Midna will now ride you as long as you are a wolf (which will be until the end of this section of my walkthrough). Head into the next cell on the right and approach the lever hanging from the ceiling. L-Target it and "attack" it to pull it down and open the door out. Head into the sewers all the way until Midna points out the misty balls of light that you will find throughout the game in Wolf form. Practice using your Senses to listen to the ghosts' thoughts.
