I know it's been a couple days, but I wanted to make sure this was a good one for you guys! Hope you enjoy!!!--A few hours later--A Doctor came in as I was chatting with everyone. "How are you feeling Karina" he asked. "I'm feeling pretty good now, I still have a sore throat but nothing like it was before" I replied. "That's good" he answered. "You're able to go home" he said "but you need to take some medication for another few days" he said handing it to my mother. "Alright" I answered. "You need to rest" he said, "No singing". "Seriously?" I said. "Don't worry Kar" Joe said, "We have lots of time". I got up and changed into the only clothes I had and my parents took me home. "I'm going to bed" I said as we went into the house. "Alright honey" my mom said as I walked up the stairs. I went into my room and shut the door and laid on my bed. I was upset about the whole "not being able to sing" thing. What else am I supposed to do? It's what I do! I sing. I chilled out on my bed and finally fell asleep.--A few days later--I woke up and couldn't believe how much better I felt. The guys had been over to visit a bit the last few days, I wasn't allowed to go to far, my mom was a bit nervous. "Finally" I said as I got up. I changed into my shorts and tank top, and of course my converse. I just put my hair in a ponytail and went downstairs. "Hey mom" I gave her a hug. "You seem better" she said smiling. "I am" I said sitting at the table. "Better enough to sing?" my dad asked. "What do you mean?" I answered. "Your audition is today at 4, it's the only other day they can, unless you want to wait till December" he said. "Thank you daddy!" I said jumping up and giving him a hug. "You're welcome honey" he said. "I'm going to hang out with the guys" I said still jumping up and down. "Alright" mom said. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door and ran over to see the guys. I barged in without knocking and ran downstairs. "Guys!!!!" I yelled coming down the stairs. "Hey Kar" said Joe giving me a hug, "You seem better". "Yah" I said, "Anyways our audition is today!" I was still yelling. "Calm down" said Kevin laughing, "You don't need to yell". "Sorry I'm just sooo excited" I lowered my volume. "Have you been taking too much medication?" asked Nick laughing. "Hahah funny" I replied sarcastically. "We should probably go over the song a bit before this afternoon". So we played for a bit and before we knew it, it was time to go. We climbed into the car and headed over to the studio. My dad was waiting for us as we went inside. "You ready guys" he asked as we set up. "Definitely" I said "But really nervous". "Don't be nervous" said Joe, "You're going to do amazing" he said smiling. "Thanks" I said, "I feel a lot better". A few minutes later my dad's boss came in, the owner, and sat down. "Ok guys, ready?" I asked looking back at them. They nodded and the owner nodded and we started playing. I looked at my dad, he was smiling, he looked proud of me then I looked at the boss, he had no expression so I couldn't tell, I just kept singing my heart out. Finally we were done and we just stood there for a few seconds while they deliberated. I stood next to Joe and grabbed his arm. I was so nervous. Finally about 10 minutes later they finished talking. "Well, after talking" said the owner, "I think you guys definitely have a future ahead of you, that's why I'm going to give you a shot, but don't blow it, it's the only chance you'll get". I screamed and gave the guys a hug. "I can't believe it!" I said giving my dad a hug. "You were great honey" he said. "Thanks" I replied. "You sounded amazing" said Joe. "Thanks Harper" I said smirking at him. We were walking out and I was so excited I didn't realize what was in front of me and I ran into someone. "Oh sorry" I said looking up. As I looked up I saw this gorgeous guy with blue eyes and sandy blonde hair. "It's no problem" he said, "I'm Chase" he said putting out his hand, "I heard you guys, you sounded really good". "Thanks" I said shaking his hand, "I'm Karina, this is Joe, Nick and Kevin". "Nice to meet you guys, I hope to see more of you" he said looking at me. "Same here" I said looking back at him. "I gotta go" he said leaving. "Bye" I said still looking at him. He left and the guys started laughing. "What!?" I said glaring at them. "You were totally flirting with him" said Nick. "Whatever, he was nice, I was being nice back" I said. "Sure" said Kevin. Joe said nothing and just looked down. "Let's go" I said grabbing Nick's arm and practically dragging him.
