Biographical video for Alaska Governor Sarah Palin prepared for the September 1-4, 2008 Republican National Convention at Minneapolis St. Paul MinnesotaAlaska Governor web site bio: http://www.gov.state.ak.us/bio.htmlRetrieved September 4, 2008"About the Governor"Governor Sarah Palin made history on Dec. 4, 2006, when she took office. As the 11th governor of Alaska, she is the first woman to hold the office."Since taking office, her top priorities have been resource development, education and workforce development, public health and safety, and transportation and infrastructure development."Under her leadership, Alaska invested $5 billion in state savings, overhauled education funding, and implemented the Senior Benefits Program that provides support for low-income older Alaskans. "She created Alaska's Petroleum Systems Integrity Office to provide oversight and maintenance of oil and gas equipment, facilities and infrastructure, and the Climate Change Subcabinet to prepare a climate change strategy for Alaska."During her first legislative session, Governor Palin's administration passed two major pieces of legislation -- an overhaul of the state's ethics laws and a competitive process to construct a gas pipeline."Governor Palin is chair of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission, a multi-state government agency that promotes the conservation and efficient recovery of domestic oil and natural gas resources while protecting health, safety and the environment. "She was recently named chair of the National Governors Association (NGA) Natural Resources Committee, which is charged with pursuing legislation to ensure state needs are considered as federal policy is formulated in the areas of agriculture, energy, environmental protection and natural resource management. Prior to being named to this position, she served as co-chair of this committee."Prior to her election as governor, Palin served two terms on the Wasilla City Council and two terms as the mayor/manager of Wasilla. During her tenure, she reduced property tax levels while increasing services and made Wasilla a business friendly environment, drawing in new industry."She has served as chair of the Alaska Conservation Commission, which regulates Alaska's most valuable non-renewable resources: oil and gas. She was elected by her peers to serve as president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors. In this role, she worked with local, state and federal officials to promote solutions to the needs of Alaska's communities."Sarah Heath Palin arrived in Alaska with her family in 1964, when her parents came to teach school in Skagway. She received a bachelor of science degree in communications-journalism from the University of Idaho in 1987. Palin, who graduated from Wasilla High School in 1982, has lived in Skagway, Eagle River and Wasilla."She is married to Todd Palin, who is a lifelong Alaskan, a production operator on the North Slope and a four-time champion of the Iron Dog, the world's longest snowmachine race."Todd and Sarah fish in Bristol Bay with their children -- Track, Bristol, Willow, Piper and Trig. Through Todd's Yup'ik grandmother, Alaska's Native heritage plays an important role in their family. Track enlisted in the U.S. Army on Sept. 11, 2007."Prior to taking office, Palin served on numerous boards and commissions throughout the state. She was active in her family's pursuits -- including serving as a sports team mom and school volunteer. She also runs marathons."Palin is a lifetime member of the NRA and enjoys hunting, fishing, Alaska history, and all that Alaska's great outdoors has to offer."Todd Palin and Scott Davis, team 22, cross the finish line in Fairbanks on Feb. 17, 2007 to win the 2,000-mile Tesoro Iron Dog. Palin has won the world's longest snowmachine race four times."

The expressive way of using bad language -- is this wrong? Not always, I don't think...because most people don't use the word literally, so that they don't mean the "nasty thing" literally the word is about, but just mean something in a forceful, expressive way with no reference towards the wrong thing in the literal sense. But we still shouldn't use bad language because it might insult other people/believers. Why does this matter? Read Rom Ch. 14-15 and 1 Corinthians 8-10!! This might seem weird to the unbelievers out there, but that's the Christian ethic. Other people's psychological well-being should also be the Christian's concern.

CNBC's "Mad Money" Jim Cramer who plays himself in Iron Man yells that a toupee would ruin his authenticity while Richard Johnson, the Editor of Page Six, who writes up the item the next day, looks on. Richard had just handed Baird two beers which fortied Baird's interviewing demeanor. Jason Binn, the host and publisher of Gotham Magazine praises Baird's work ethic. This is how the item ran: http://www.nypost.com/seven/09272007/gossip/pagesix/too_much_gin.htmSeptember 27, 2007, New York Post, Page SixTOO MUCH GINJim Cramer seems to have no "off" switch. The manic host of CNBC's "Mad Money" was unstoppable at Gin Lane Tuesday night as he schmoozed with Arianna Huffington, Dolly Lenz and Jason Binn, whose Gotham magazine threw the party in Cramer's honor because he and Cramer live in the same building. Cramer freely gave investing tips - he's bullish on Altria and Onyx - and bristled when Webster Hall's Baird Jones asked the balding cable star if he'd ever wear a hairpiece. "I would rather blow my head off . . . Never, ever, ever . . . They are phony. They are horrible. Same with hair transplants. I like cornrows when they are in an Iowa field . . I would never even dye my hair. The only thing I have is my authenticity. No, no, no!"

I knew that there was a document in the box, about an action game. I wanted it to start with some neat intro smoothly introducing President Eisenhower's farewell speech, famous for his warning about the military-industrial complex. That was before I learned that Electronic Arts would have Army of Two debut with this address. Dang.

As he launched his new ethics and reform campaign, McCain told his favorite anti-corruption story about his new running mate. "You know what I enjoyed the most, [Palin] took the luxury jet bought by her predecessor and sold it on eBay," he said. "And made a profit." State officials said they sold it through a broker for $2.1 million - a loss.

Blackwater Worldwide has shifted recently from "private security", so I felt it was only fair to shift my perspective a bit on the ethics and maneuvering of this industry to cover the other side of the field with regards to the potential of Senator Barak Obama being elected in the next few months with the upcoming American election process.
