This RIP was never intended to air, it was produced by Giant Ideas for a presentation that we did for the MBC Network. This RIP led directly to our re-branding the network The Black Family Channel. At the time it was unclear if a new name was possible, so this was our attempt to give MBC some emotion and connect it to the audience. It is an interesting glimpse into the workings of a branding campaign and not something that general audiences ever get to see.For those that may be unaware, the word "RIP" refers to a video made for presentation purposes only and is not generally intended to be aired or seen by the public. This video was made to celebrate the Pennsylvania Torch Run for Life 2008 which took place between June 16th and July 11th, 2008. The Torch Run for Life was a celebration and awareness event for Organ Donation families, friends and volunteers and led up to the Opening Ceremonies of the National Kidney Foundation U.S. Transplant Games being held in Pittsburgh, PA from July 11-16, 2008.This video was prepared with the help of CORE, Gift of Life, the Pennsylvania Department of Health and Giant Ideas.To learn more about Organ Donation in Pennsylvania please visit:http://www.donatelife-pa.org
