This will soon be a full playthrough of the Enhanced version of Kings Quest VI for Windows 3.1. My goal will be to upload a piece every day and finish by the end of the year.The Enhanced version of King's Quest VI utilizes a 640x480 resolution, twice that of the 320x240 resolution in the DOS version. The main improvements over the DOS version are smooth, better drawn images of the icon bar, inventory items, and closeups on the characters faces.For better quality, add "&fmt=18" to the end of the URL.The music in this playthrough comes directly from the King's Quest VI Soundtrack, and therefore sounds much better than the basic MIDI output on most computers.This will be a more exhaustive exploration of the game, rather than a direct walkthrough. During my first visit to each screen, I spend much time clicking the various commands all over the screen. However, this is actually a very efficient solution as far as traveling is concerned. For example, I will use the magic map only 13 times, which is the minimum number required to get the top score.
