One reason to not believe that the dead are conscious is that they probably wouldn't enjoy it too much. If Mozart could hear his masterpiece transformed into a ragtime piano duet, he'd probably be turning over in his grave (but then again, I've heard he had an adolescent sense of humor). Noni and Bryan teaching the youth on fire. they were supposed to do freestyle, but they ended up doing their gay moves. it's so funny and fyi: they didn't mean to do it!

I liked Floodgate Productions' "Gift of Worship" video clip so much, but for various reasons, wasn't able to purchase it. So, I had to make my own; I completely lifted much of their layout ideas (and even Jeremy Riddle's song) and adapted it for use in our church's ministry theme at the time. I give credit to Floodgate and would thank them if I could. Pictures include our Pastor and various members of our church.

Since 2005 when Israel left Gaza, the town of Sderot is being attacked by Hamas and the Islamic Jihad every day. 12 civilians were killed in the past two years, and many injured. The JCRC has organized a demonstration in front of the U.N building in New York showing 4200 red balloons representing the 4200 missiles that struck the town of Sderot.

On February 4th, The San Francisco Chronicle published an op-ed by Stanford professor Joel Beinin. Prof. Beinin, a critic of Israeli policies, was set to speak at a San Jose high school. A group of parents, with some involvement of the JewishCommunity Relations Council of Silicon Valley (JCRC), pressured the school to cancel his talk.
