I drove back to my house and started to get ready. I decided on a pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a red shirt with a black vest. Not too casual, not too fancy. I heard the doorbell ring and slipped on my black converse. I opened the door to find Nick standing there. His mouth just dropped when he saw me. "Whoa, you look HOT!" was all he said. "Shut up! At least try to be classy." I said. "Fine, Rose, you look very beautiful tonight. Love the top, brand new right?" he said while trying to sound like a girl. "Let's just go" I said while walking out the door. We got in and he started to drive. When we got to the destination, I was enraged. "You took me to a party?!" I yelled over the loud music. "How else would we have fun?" Nick said with a smile. "Nick, you know the party scene isn't for me." I fought back. "Come on now, Rose. There's also Joe here too. Nothing's going to happen, I promise." He said while sticking his hand out to me. "Fine." I said while grabbing it and we walked inside. Anyone who was anyone was there. Even a couple of college kids. Must've been Joe's friends. It was a mix of high schoolers and freash college students. Nick went somewhere to talk to his baseball friends and left me standing there. I then spotted Joe. I decided to walk up and talk to him."Hey Joe!" I said waving. "Oh hey Rose!" he said while giving me a hug. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "Ugh, Nick dragged me here. But like I said, it's not a date." I answered. "Good, so he won't mind if I asked you to dance?" he said grabbing my waist and leading me to the dance floor. "A friendly dance won't hurt." I said smiling. The truth was, I had even a bigger crush on Joe ever since we got older. Yeah, he was a college guy. But he wasn't like everyone else, especially not like Nick. We danced and had a great time. "I never knew you were such a great dancer Joe!" I said. "Me neither!" he said back. Then he did the unexpected. He pulled me closer to him and drew me into a kiss. I was even more shocked then the time Nick kissed me. I was happy and confused all at the same time. Yeah I had a huge crush on Joe, but what about Nick? I decided to erase every thought going through my head and continued to kiss him. We finally pulled away and I had this huge smile on my face. He had one on too. "It's getting kind of late. Why don't I drive you home?" Joe asked. "What about Nick?" I said pointing to where he was dancing with another girl. "Oh I think he'll be fine." And with that he led me to his car and we left. When we got to my house he walked me to the door. "I never thought I would have a good time at one of these parties." I said. "Me neither" He said. "So does this mean we're..." I trailed off. But then he tried to finish what I was saying. "Dating? Only if you want to of course." he said. "I'd like that a lot." I said with a smile. "Let's make it official." he said. He got down on one knee, took off his watch, and slipped it onto my wrist. "Rosalina Diane Hastings, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. I giggled and then answered. "Why, I'd love too." He got up and he gave me the most romantic kiss ever. We said our goodbyes and he left. This night was so perfect! Now how am I supposed to tell Nick?--------------------------sorry for not posting for awhile. i was in Canada for a week. i feel really bad for not posting up. i have a life off of youtube you know. i also have to keep up with That's Just The Way We Roll (A Jonas Adventure). so i'm not gonna update regularly. but i will still keep posting, just not a lot!
