Once again, it was a Monday, but on this particular monday, Leighton was happier than you could imagine because not only did she feel great living in Arizona but it was her first day of school at Garth High School and she couldn't wait. She wore a pair of light was jeans with a hole in her left knee, a plain spagetti strap white tank top with a gold necklace that had emerald pendants and her long brown hair down and flat with a pair of gray rainbow(the brand) sandals. She then got in her car but instead of going and picking up Kylie, she dropped off her brothers at their elementary school, and headed to school. She was so nervous she knew absolutely no one, well besides Kennedy but she doubted that their 4 sentence conversation would make them best friends. Her first class was US History so she grabbed her books and headed to class, one thing that was good about transferring was that the only seats left were always in the back, which of course was the best place to sit. She took her seat next to one of the prettiest girls shed ever seen. She had long, natural blonde hair and bright blue eyes, she, along with everyone else in the state, had a perfect tan as well. And the weirdest but coolest thing about her, was that her name was Jake. Jake: Hey, you new here?Leighton: Yeah, I just moved here from New Jersey, I'm Leighton by the way.Jake: Really? That's such a cool nameLeighton: Haha well look whos talkingBoth the girls laughed, she really liked Jake, she really thought they could be friends.Jake: So do you-Jake was cut off by the loud creak of the door opening, Leighton turned her head to see who would walk through the door and just her luck, it was Kennedy. It was time to stop avoiding things, she had to answer.Leighton: Hello?Nick: Leighton! You answered!Leighton: Yeah but im on my way to class right now could i call you in like 2 hours at lunchNick: Yeah, totally, of courseLeighton: Alright byeLeighton Hung up what was she going to say to Nick, she still loved him of course but there was no way they could be together now, she lived in Arizona, and it wasnt like she could just move back and then break up and move back to Arizona and keep going back and forth, Arizona was where she lived now. And not to mention last time she talked to Nick he broke her heart, and she didnt know if she could forgive him.Before Leighton knew it it was lunch and she found Kennedy, Jake and a table full of people and she sat next to Kennedy.Kennedy: Hey gorgeousLeighton: Oh well hello handsomeThey both laughed and the more leighton just looked at Kennedy the more she liked him, but she had to make her call to nick.Nick: Hello?Leighton: HeyNick: Hey gorgeousLeighton got the chills, 5 seconds ago she was having the conversation with Kennedy, who she really liked, and Nick of course had to do this.Leighton: You wanted to talk?Nick: Yeah I doLeighton: About...Kennedy put his arm around Leighton and gave er a smile, she smiled backNick: Well um I...I want to get back together
