Church Preparations for Hurricane Gustav - LDS Newsroom
Local leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Haiti and the Dominican Republic are working with disaster-response officials to help residents recover from the devastation left in the wake of then Tropical Storm Gustav. As requested, supplies have been assembled and are being positioned around the perimeter of the storm.

The officer held a gun on Shane Stickler, 35, and Michelle Benefield, 29, after they exited their vehicle in the parking lot of a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the 7000 block of East Brown Road.Stickler got back into the car but Benefield, who was wearing a bathing suit.
