I shot the sheriff (Bob Marley by VBT)

Hi there,Here it is the Vintage Blues Trio (VBT) performing "I Shot the Sheriff". We actually play something very close to Eric Clapton 1970's version, adapted to a trio. I mean, without backing vocals, Hammond organ, etc. I actually wish to play in a band named VBQ instead of VBT, with a good Hammond B3 player completing the quartet. Anybody would like to take a try?I use here my Fender Pro-Jr amp (a real workhorse for small gigs). I also own a Blues Jr, but I prefer the tone of the Pro with its 10" speaker. I play with a stock Fender Stratocaster 1957 reissue (the US version). Mine is a lefty in two-tone sunburst (the only color available for us, the forgoten lefies). My pedalboard is very simple: Vox Wah, boss TU2 tuner, MXR dynacomp, Fulltone FD-2 overdrive, and Boss Od-3 (used as a booster).

Iraqi Uranium and a False Charge Against President Bush
Do you think the Lefties will eat "yellowcake" now? No, they have too much invested in the Bush lied mantra. But, history should get it right, even with the MSM help to cover up for the Left.

Tampa Bay Rays Examiner: Candidates to replace Trever Miller
You don't just replace a guy like Trever Miller. Actually, yeah you do. It is time for Andrew Friedman to find a new lefty specialist to join the bullpen. Miller’s departure leaves J.P. Howell as the only lefty in the Rays’ pen and he is too valuable to be the specialist.

Open Left:: The Fake Liberal Ideological Gap
There are a lot more lefties and center-lefties in America than polls show. Here are three reasons why:

Reeducating The Yutes: Part 1
In a previous post entitled, "So What Do We Do About It?" we had the typical reaction from an uneducated "lefty" or a wrongfully educated "victim" of the List of 45. I cannot classify the individual making the comments a troll just yet so I will refrain from the usual "nailing of the troll to the Leftinistra cross" at this time.

Media Tell Obama, Don't Be a Lefty like Clinton
As soon as Obama won the election the Media was telling him that he should follow centrist policies and that the Democrats lost the 94 Congressional elections because Clinton was governing too far to the Left. In fact, it is more likely that the Democrats lost the 94 elections because Union members who opposed NAFTA stayed home on election day.

Rays prospect report: Mike Wlodarczyk
Let’s get this poor guy’s name straightened out before we do anything else. It is pronounced Whoa-dar-check. Unfortunately for this 6’5” lefty, he had as tough a time getting hitters out in 2008 as people do figuring out how to pronounce his name. In an interview with DRaysBay in January of 2008, Wlodarczyk set a goal for himself to be in the . . .

Hard Lesson For RINOs: No Reward for Bipartisanship
Democrats do NOT want to work with Republicans, not even "lefty" Republicans like Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine). Their claims of being “bipartisan” is nothing but a lie, as Collins discovered in her 2008 re-election bid, when her "friends" across the aisle campaigned hard against her.

How Best To Fix Our Broken Economy?
Far-right pundits and their allies in the media, using the false and discredited "center-right nation" trope, parrot incessantly the notion that Obama had better not push any actions that they deem too lefty, especially where fixing the economy's concerned Meanwhile, a growing chorus is insisting that Obama take sweeping measures...

Hair on Horse's Head Could Predict Whether Lefty or Righty
Whether the hair on a horse's head curls around clockwise or anticlockwise can tell you whether it is right- or left-hoofed, say researchers in the Republic of Ireland. Clues to which direction a horse favours could help trainers produce animals that run straighter and — perhaps — win more races.
