So maybe I sound like I'm doing a Rush Limbaugh b.s artist imitation, there's a grain of truth here! Governments steal our liberty and export our jobs so we can't even find or afford fire works to celebrate the Declaration of Independence and our Right to Alter or Abolish Government. Although I agree with some of Keith's commentaries (particularly regarding the Iraq war,) I generally find him somewhat longwinded and a bit too full of empty platitudes to take seriously. He seems rather full of himself and obsessed with other commentators who are pummeling him in the ratings. In addition, I don't understand why he rarely brings opposing viewpoints onto his show. I also don't understand why certain partisan pseudo-intellectuals are always crying out against conservative commentators while at the same time they're embracing their own preferred political news pundits. Anyway, this video is from Keith's commentary about how Hillary Clinton was supposedly encouraging an assassination attempt on Barack Obama. Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Countdown with Keith Olbermann, special comment, Bill O'Reilly, Ron Paul, John McCain, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Al Gore, Ralph Nader, MSNBC, Fox News, Tim Russert, Al Franken, Bill Moyers, Mediamatters.

This video is the property of Rush Limbaugh, taken from his December 7th morning update, unaltered.Since seeing a video on the fires "out of control" yesterday and hearing a friend tell me that she thought fires were bad. I recalled when they retired Smokey the Bear (over 30 years ago)and we were taught in college the most forests were adapted to periodic fires. By controlled burning, the organic matter is not allowed to build up, thus the resulting burns do not destroy any trees, because there is not enough fuel to create a damaging and uncontrollable fire.I don't know why "we" forget these lessons?ORCould it be a sinister plot to destroy our natural landscapes through legislation?

I cannot understand why anyone would pay attention to the opinions of Rush Limbaugh. Here is why I think guys do:

If anyone thinks that in this time of conservative disarray, Rush Limbaugh has lost his audience, he hasn't. I can vouch for that. On Tuesday, my column suggested that Americans perhaps should not celebrate this Independence Day in the usual ways, should instead observe the holiday through reflection and atonement.

Rush Limbaugh will make about $38 million a year to continue his radio show over the next eight years. In addition, he says will be getting a nine-figure signing bonus.

Bush is wildly unpopular. McCain is nobody’s idea of a movement guy. Conservatism is cracking up. What’s the king of talk radio to do?

Limbaugh scoffed at the idea that African Americans are disproportionately arrested on drug charges, and suggested that the solution should be to arrest more white drug users. Of course, once it was his own ass on the line, this white drug user changed his tune pretty quick, and championed rehab for himself.

Write or call ClearChannel on the occasion of Rush Limbaugh's $400 million dollar contract if you are concerned about media whitewashing of relevant facts. What I really love about the Fourth is walking around with the smug satisfaction that those bunch of authoritarians running around today -- the Krauthammers and the Limbaughs, the Goldbergs, the K-Los, the Steyns, the Dobsons, the Robertsons, the Yorks, the Malkins and the Hewitts -- would all undoubtedly be Loyalists.

Eric Roston points out how Rush Limbaugh doesn't seem to get that as the price of oil increases, the price of everything increases, causing us to change our living habits. And that this could have been prevented if we had developed a energy policy that made us less reliant on Mideast Oil.Limbaugh typically sees this as a liberal elitist plot.

How could anyone in their right mind pay someone $400 million dollars when there are suffering people all around the world who don't even have food or water, let alone shelter. I'm sure hes so valuable to radio that he needs to be paid $400 million to talk.
