Tension was high in Kisumu on Thursday morning with several people sustaining injuries after running battles between the police and protestors opposed to the demolition of kiosks at the Kisumu main bus park. Municipal Council askaris demolished several kiosks' at the bus park on Wednesday night, claiming they were illegal structures.

With the weather cooling off here in North Carolina (albeit slightly), the weather is finally comfortable for golfing.
