Friends across the globe, Where have we found ourselves? Does it not seem as if the world at large is crumbling all around us? Every week seems to bring more and more of the same, disturbing news. Gruesome homicides. Political corruption across the globe. Senseless violence and murder. How have we slipped down this slope? Where did we go wrong? How can we steer ourselves back? It's 2008, the United States of America has been engaged in war for several years, a war that has no justification or any end in sight. It has already claimed hundreds of thousands of lives (Iraqi and American) and thousands of innocents are continually being terrorized by our occupancy. Less importantly but still important nonetheless, its costed billions upon billions of dollars, and during this administration alone we have plummeted from a five trillion dollar surplus into a nine trillion dollar debt. If these things don't scare you intensely, then I recommend that you take it upon yourself to literally take five minutes and look up some FACTS about 9/11, the Iraq War, and some of the legislation that has passed in the past couple years. Friends, I don't mean to be harsh but the truth is so easy to reach, it takes a couple of button presses and clicks, and anyone can find it. The veil of ignorance, my friends, must be lifted in order to achieve liberation. I digress, the original point of this video is to gain a solution. In order to do that, I feel we need to analyze what our values are at these days. Although perhaps trite of me to say this, we seem to be lulled into some sort of sleep. I make this criticism upon myself, as well as the rest of America. Change nearly seems impossible, so why bother? Why not watch it all slip away? But I can tell you why; I love this world, this magical place in this beautiful space and time that has limitless discoveries in it to be made, endless triumphs to be had, and the wonderful thing called love to be shared. I want my kids to see this world, to experience this world, to better and perfect our way of living. Humanity possesses unlimited capacity for spiritual and intellectual growth, why not push ourselves to our full potential? Why continue to be a slave to consumerism and materialism? These days, in my young adulthood and having the veil lifted over my eyes, exposed to the cruelty and blind anger that infests the world, I find myself depressed. However, I also find myself inspired to speak on what troubles me, and what I feel we must do in order to combat these ever-intensifying problems. To me, the solution seems clear. Let us unite, as people, without gods or kings to meddle with the progress of our race. You and I are one and the same, as you and everyone else are. Wouldn't a world where we can work together, laugh together, and love one another be so much more preferable to a world of paranoia, violence and bloodshed? We are truly the ones to blame for our condition as of now, being six billion strong, AND the workforce and soldiers of those who would do us ill. It's one gigantic vicious paradox, but the truth is we are the ones who have the power to end it. You and I hold the key to change. Do not at all assume that the politicians we elect to change things for us will keep their promises -- they are working for an agenda that doesn't include us. This perhaps may seem like a ridiculous question, but I pose it nonetheless: What is stopping us from quitting our jobs, throwing down our weapons, telling the powers that be, "NO!" What is so hard about that? Give it two weeks and I guarantee you, we will have them by the proverbial gonads. If the Republicans are afraid to have Sarah Palin talk with Wolf Blitzer, they must be downright petrified at the thought of her becoming president.

Sarah Palin is a recovering crack whore. After years of drug abuse and selling her body, she fled to alaska to marry some rich oil tycoon. her plan failed and she got knocked up by Fred. Then she became a racist tyrant of the small alaska town and slimed her way into the political office. Now she shares HPV with her daughter...fucking racist bitch!

For the first few days of the DNC I wondered if I should have bothered to go. Not that it wasn't interesting, but FDL had plenty of people there who know US politics better than I do, and the entire thing was very antiseptic, with little in the way of protest. A giant, very well choreographed, photo opportunity.
