In her art studio, Rachel is asking Caroline if she knows of anyone who might be interested in the Red Swan because of its financial value, and Caroline says no, she doesn't. Cass arrives then and greets both women. He tells Rachel that Derek didn't steal the Red Swan. Rachel tells Cass she wants to hire a private investigator because she doesn't want to leave this solely up to the police, and that she wants Cass to work with the investigator. Cass promises they'll do their best. The trio then look at Sam's newest painting, which is of Amanda. A little later, Frankie finds Caroline in the art studio, and Caroline is very patronizing towards Frankie, but Frankie holds her own. Caroline tells Frankie that Cass is in with Rachel, and then says she figures Frankie will be pretty busy investigating the theft of the Red Swan. Frankie reminds Caroline that she works for Lucas now, so Cass will have to hire himself a new P.I., the poor guy. Caroline tells Frankie not to worry about Cass because Caroline will look after him. Frankie tells Caroline that Cass is hurting and has a lot to work through and could probably use some solitude. Caroline says on the contrary, the more time she spends with Cass, the lighter he seems to be on his feet. Frankie retorts that must be pretty easy since Caroline seems to spend all her time horizontal. Caroline replies that you can't argue with success. Frankie warns Caroline that Cass has a broken heart, and that doesn't just go away. Caroline says Frankie's concern is truly touching. Frankie asks if Caroline is always this obnoxious, or if Frankie is the only lucky one. Caroline says it's getting stuffy in there so she's going to find Cass, and she'll tell Cass is there and maybe Cass will spend some time with Frankie too.
