*Leighton's POV*"It's....it's going to be okay." I was shocked, stunned, more so than I already was. What did my father just say? The man that has never said I love you to me, all of a sudden thinks that my life is going to be okay? He thinks he can just step into my life NOW, and expect my life to be okay? Well my life hasn't been okay for years now, but this whole bay thing has pushed me off the edge and there's no way my life is going to be okay."Leighton, if you need anything, Fredrick will take care of it." Of course FREDRICK will take care of. I don't expect you to do anything for me but keep refilling my credit card.I just lay on the ground, I didn't want to move. I just lost my baby. I just lost Kevin's baby. I'm a murderer. I MURDERED A BABY!I sobbed the words over and over again. I couldn't believe what I had done. I Finally got the strength to get up and I headed over to my bed, I lifted the mattress and retrieved the shoe box that was hidden underneath there since the 7th grade. I sat on the edge of my bed and opened it up. I took a look at my options before choosing a small medical blade...*Kevin's POV*After I told her father what's been going on, I felt like I needed to go back to see Leighton, make sure she is okay. So I climbed up to her window again, and climbed in to see her sitting at the edge of the bed. It was s tart from lying in the feudal position on the ground. "hey hunnie." I say calmly. But as soon as she heard my voice, she jumped and scrambled to put something away. I walked over to where she was to see what's going on, who knew such a beautiful girl, would try to make such a disaster of her thigh...."Leighton what are you doing!?" I could see the blood trickling down her thigh and her eyes were red and bloodshot from crying. I could also see old scars on her thigh that I had never paid attention to before now."I'm, I'm sorry Kevin. I never meant to loose it. I never meant to kill it. I'm sorry." She sobbed into my shoulder and I stroked her back."I know baby, it wasn't your fault. You couldn't have stopped him. C'mon Leighton, I'm taking you to the hospital, make sure you're okay.""NO!" she pushed out of my embrace and stood up offended. "I'm fine!""No Leighton, your not! Your cutting yourself! And you just lost your baby! You need to be checked out!" I got up and towered over her."MY baby? Its Our baby." She said quietly, she began to cry some more."Leighton, please, just come to the hospital with me, I'll get you some help.""I DON'T FUCKING NEED HELP KEVIN!" She screamed at me and went back to her box, she picked out a ceramic statue and broke its head off on the nightstand next to her. She dug the rough, broken edge into her wrist and it drew blood. "I DON'T NEED HELP!! I DON'T NEED HELP!" "LEIGHTON!" I grabbed the statue from her hand and threw it to the ground. I grabbed her wrist in my hand to try and stop the bleeding, but it wasn't working. She was loosing consciousness so I picked her up bridal style and we climbed out the window."I'm going to get you help Leighton. Just hang in there."

Demi took the phone and read it aloud. "'From: Toby...Hey. Thanks for all the phone numbers. You know, you really shouldn't leave your phone just sitting around. But I did have a nice chat with Selena and some gossip mags. Love you babe.'" Demi clenched her teeth and walked inside to Nick. He was still being interviewed over the phone. She handed him the phone. "Look at this." She told him. He looked up at Stacy, then down at the phone.Stacy stood next to Demi, remembering how she felt when she first met Nick. Her stomach felt like it was going to turn inside out whenever he looked at her. It was like she was meeting him all over again."Like I said before," Nick said into the phone annoyed. "It was just a misunderstanding."A few minutes later, Nick said goodbye and hung up. "I can't believe that jerk..." Nick said, standing up and handing Stacy her phone.Stacy slowly took it from his hand, and turned around, heading for the door. "Bye Demi.""Bye."Stacy opened the door and walked out. Nick sighed. "How long is she going to avoid me for?""Dunno. But knowing her, I wouldn't count on it being soon.""Great." He said sarcastically."Listen, how about we go to the movies tomorrow night? We can go see 'Batman'." Demi asked, nudging him with her elbow."Seen it.""Too bad. I haven't. I'll call you." She said, walking towards the door."Fine."
