Bank of America and Commerce Bank rejected a second and final offer made late last week to restructure an approximate $6.9 million of outstanding long-term debt and keep WTVP, public television for Central Illinois, operating. BoA says they support non profit organizations, yet they work to close one. And WTVP has never missed a payment!

WTVP-TV Peoria IL a PBS affiliate may well have assets seized on Jan 15, even Elmo couldn't love the banks on this one. Bank of America shows a lack of community spirit. No wonder the populist candidates are winning.

Bank of America has called their loan with WTVP, Peoria IL. Bank of America will proceed to seize the assets of the PBS affiliate on Jan. 15, 2008. WTVP used the loan to go digital. WTVP is conducting a last ditch pledge drive. Bank of America not as community oriented in real life, as in their commercials.
