Both of them are very excited for their date later that day. After school, Nick and Selena are working on the project, when Selena realizes that she wanted to be with Nick. So she leaned in and kissed him on the lips.****(But Nick never got to finish his sentence. Selena had finally listened to her urge, leaned over, and kissed Nick on the lips. Surprisingly, he pulled away just as quickly as she had kissed him.)Nick: (angry) What was that for?(Selena was stunned that Nick was mad about the kiss. She had expected him to be ecstatic about it, not angry about it.)Selena: I . . . um, I . . .Nick: Well?(Selena wanted to cry. Nick seemed really mad at her for kissing him.)Selena: I’m so sorry, Nick. I just couldn’t help myself.(Nick’s anger melted away as he saw the expression on her face.
