Rebecca had left for something to drink twenty minutes ago and she still hadn't come back. Then, I remembered what my friend Steven had once told me: "Don't ever drink the soda at parties. Let's just say, it's not really soda." My eyes widened and I excused myself.I frantically started looking around for Rebecca. Why did I let her leave? I knew I shouldn't have. How stupid of me! I walked to the soda table but she wasn't there. I turned to a guy near me. "Have you seen a girl about this tall? She's got on a black shirt and a jean skirt." "Oh, you mean that really hot chick? Yeah, she went that way." He pointed towards the living room/dance floor."Thanks." I walked away and I got even more nervous. Finally, I spotted Rebecca. But I didn't expect to see her like that. She was dancing with some guy. Well, more like grinding. She was actually laughing and enjoying it. I was furious as the guy put his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to him.I briskly walked up to them and grabbed Rebecca's arm and pulled her towards me. She sloppily fell into my arms and giggled."Hey, Kevin.""Rebecca, what's wrong with you?"She giggled. "Are you kidding? I've never been better.""Oh my god. You're drunk."She giggled again. "So that's what that soda was. Well, whatever. Let's dance.""No, c'mon. we're leaving.""But Kevin, I don't wanna leave," she said in a whiny voice."I don't care. Let's go."The guy she had been dancing with came in. "Hey! If she don't wanna go, don't force her. Besides, we weren't done dancing.""I believe you were."I grabbed her hand and practically dragged her outside. Rebecca giggled and said, "Slow down, boy. You're going too-" She tripped and fell to the ground, laughing. "Fast," she said, in between laughs. I was mad at her. Did she think this was joke? I picked her up and carried her to the truck.I put her in and slammed the door. I climbed in and started to drive. As I was heading back, I suddenly felt a hand run across my chest and another run through my hair. It was Rebecca. Her lips pressed against my neck and I started feeling a tad uncomfortable.Then, she slowly started moving on top of me, which freaked me out. I had to admit that at some point, I kinda liked it. But Rebecca was drunk. She wouldn't be doing this if she wasn't. I tried to push her off me but I was trying to concentrate on driving. Rebecca kissed a spot on my neck and I unwillingly moaned.She giggled sensually. "That's it, babe. Just enjoy it.""Rebecca, get off.""Aww. But you know you love it.""No. Now please... lay off.""Oh, come on. Don't you ever have any fun?""That's not what I'm saying.""Well then..." And she continued to kiss my neck."Rebecca, please. I'm not kidding."She pulled away. "Ugh. Fine. But you're going to want me. I know it."She moved back and I relaxed. I had my purity ring and even though I love Rebecca with all my heart, I couldnt break my promise. She already knew about it. I had told her on one of our dates and she had admired me. But now, in her current condition, I'm surprised she even knows who I am.I pulled into the college parking lot and got out. I heard Rebecca climb out as well. But I heard giggles and a scream. I turned to see Rebecca on the ground, laughing like a maniac. I went over and tried to help her up. As I was doing that, she grabbed me and our lips crashed. I was pulled into the kiss until Rebecca's hands started to crawl under my shirt. I quickly pushed her away. I helped her stand up and we walked into the building.As we were walking up the stairs, Rebecca kept tripping so it took a while to reach the third floor. I stood next to her as she unlocked the door and as soon as it opened, she randomly fell to the floor. That's what alcohol does to you. She looked unconscious so I picked her up and walked inside, closing the door behind me.As I was walking towards her bed, something on her desk caught my eye. It was a picture frame. But more importantly, it held the picture I had once drawn for Rebecca, the one with a rose and the writing. I smiled, happy that she had liked it that much to frame it.I laid Rebecca down on the bed. I kissed her on the forehead. I walked away but heard footsteps on the floor. Suddenly, Rebecca was in front of me, blocking my way out. I saw her hand slither behind her and the lock clicked. "Now, the fun begins."~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I kinda liked that cliffy. Well, yeah.Question of the day:Did you go see Twilight? How was it?I didn't get to go see it so I'm sad. The current World Champion, the Female Ultron, finally suffered her first defeat thanks to the combined might of Supergirl and Rogue. But she's still the champion. And if you paid attention to her only loss, she took more than a bit of damage in that fight. This makes it the best moment to finish her off.But this is wrestling/superhero fighting, so the notion of simply sending all the girls at the same time to beat the hell out of the Female Ultron and torn her to pieces seemed a bit too, shall we say, dishonorable for these lovely if misguidedly moralistic group of superheroines. So in the spirit of having undue courtesy to the opponent who wouldn't think it twice to kick them in their tender regions while they're down, they decided to have a little tournament to decide who should face the Female Ultron while she's hurt (hoping they don't give her too much time to repair herself).Queen Of The Ring Tournament - Semifinal 2 - Wonder Woman vs Ms. MarvelThese two characters, in their own ways, are the definition of feminism for each of their publishers. Feminism according to 40-year-old men, that is. Wonder Woman, as you probably know, was created by William Moulton Marston; a bondage lover who created the comic book character primarily to fulfill his female-bondage fantasies. As you know, Diana is a princess (only evil female characters can be queens for some reason, all the good girls are invariably princesses). She lives in an island full of women who dress and act like they were on a teenage boy's wet dream. And all her weapons (except the occasional sword) also double as fashion accessories.Ms. Marvel, on the other hand, had the words "This female fights back" proudly stenciled on the cover of her comic book. This lasted exactly two issues and caused a nice little uproar by the fans ("--as opposed to the other females who never fight back!!?!?!"). Gee, who would've thought anyone would take offense to that. It sounded like such a feminist-y thing to say!But anyway, the most iconic female character from DC Comics faces one of the most poorly handled female characters from Marvel Comics.
