This clip showed the main highlight of any Olympic Games closing ceremony: the extinguishing of the Olympic Flame.In this case, the cauldron was tilted downward toward a girl representing an NGO (non-governmental organization) called SOS Children's Villages. Accompanying her was, I guess, two adult representatives of the organization, which was founded in Austria in 1949. There are such villages in 131 countries around the world.From there, she "takes" the Flame from there to her "candle", in order to pass it to the other children waiting at the bottom of the stairs with similar candles. As you can see here, the Chinese girl who sang that "Jasmine" song held on to one, too.At the end of this clip, the cauldron headed back up to its upright position, while the Flame itself was slowly diminishing. In the final act, the girl stared at the cauldron and "blows out" the Flame to finally extinguish it, as the announcer said, "Hope to see you again."
