On May 16, 2008 Governor Pawlenty signed into law the Abigail Taylor Pool Safety Act. Certainly well intentioned effort went into this legislation. Unfortunately there are some severe an unintentional consequences of the law. It actually outlaws entrapment free pools by requiring drains in every pool and then mandating bathers be protected.
