This scum sucking piece of communist waist needs to be tried and then shot. That vermin ridin low life scum bag of a terrorist Bill Ayers is instead teaching young Americans how to be just like him. If he walked out into the street tomorrow and was killed by a bus, this country would be better of for it.No Regrets for a Love Of Explosives; In a Memoir of Sorts, a War Protester Talks of Life With the Weathermen By DINITIA SMITHPublished: September 11, 2001The New York Times''I don't regret setting bombs,'' Bill Ayers said. ''I feel we didn't do enough.'' Mr. Ayers, who spent the 1970's as a fugitive in the Weather Underground, was sitting in the kitchen of his big turn-of-the-19th-century stone house in the Hyde Park district of Chicago. The long curly locks in his Wanted poster are shorn, though he wears earrings. He still has tattooed on his neck the rainbow-and-lightning Weathermen logo that appeared on letters taking responsibility for bombings. And he still has the ebullient, ingratiating manner, the apparently intense interest in other people, that made him a charismatic figure in the radical student movement. Now he has written a book, ''Fugitive Days'' (Beacon Press, September). Mr. Ayers, who is 56, calls it a memoir, somewhat coyly perhaps, since he also says some of it is fiction. He writes that he participated in the bombings of New York City Police Headquarters in 1970, of the Capitol building in 1971, the Pentagon in 1972. But Mr. Ayers also seems to want to have it both ways, taking responsibility for daring acts in his youth, then deflecting it.''Is this, then, the truth?,'' he writes. ''Not exactly. Although it feels entirely honest to me.''But why would someone want to read a memoir parts of which are admittedly not true? Mr. Ayers was asked.''Obviously, the point is it's a reflection on memory,'' he answered. ''It's true as I remember it.''Mr. Ayers is probably safe from prosecution anyway. A spokeswoman for the Justice Department said there was a five-year statute of limitations on Federal crimes except in cases of murder or when a person has been indicted.Mr. Ayers, who in 1970 was said to have summed up the Weatherman philosophy as: ''Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at,'' is today distinguished professor of education at the University of Illinois at Chicago. And he says he doesn't actually remember suggesting that rich people be killed or that people kill their parents, but ''it's been quoted so many times I'm beginning to think I did,'' he said. ''It was a joke about the distribution of wealth.''He went underground in 1970, after his girlfriend, Diana Oughton, and two other people were killed when bombs they were making exploded in a Greenwich Village town house. With him in the Weather Underground was Bernardine Dohrn, who was put on the F.B.I.'s 10 Most Wanted List. J. Edgar Hoover called her ''the most dangerous woman in America'' and ''la Pasionara of the Lunatic Left.'' Mr. Ayers and Ms. Dohrn later married. http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9F02E1DE1438F932A2575AC0A9679C8B63

“Nothing the Weather Underground did was terrorist.” They only engaged in what Dohrn says were “direct actions that were symbolic, that were recognizable and understandable to the American people.” They made sure they acted with “restraint.” Should we respond to such claims with gales of laughter or with sadness about how these brazen lies are bei

Bill Ayers' influence on the incoming Obama administration has likely made itself felt for the first time. Obama has appointed Linda Darling-Hammond to head the Presidential transition policy team on Education. Ayers played a significant role in recruiting Darling-Hammond as an advisor to the Obama campaign, according to a senior campaign insider.

Earlier this week, Salon.com's Washington bureau chief, Walter Shapiro, sat down with terrorist emeritus Bill Ayers for a chummy 55-minute conversation. Shortly into the interview, Shapiro asks a question: "Did you follow the right-wing blogger, I believe it was, who was totally convinced that you wrote Barack Obama's books?" Right-wing blogger?

Bill Ayers has been a fixture in Chicago for decades, where he is a college professor and an advocate for education. But Ayers became known to an even wider audience during the presidential election season because of his association with Barack Obama.Fascinating stuff.

After staying silent during an election that made him into one of its central bogeymen, Bill Ayers has been making the rounds, appearing on "Good Morning America" and NPR's "Fresh Air," writing for In These Times and giving lectures to share his experiences and promote the new edition of his 2001 memoir.

The great irony of the Ayers controversy is how Obama's critics attacked one of Obama's greatest strengths: his curiosity about smart people who have useful ideas, liberal or conservative, even if he disagrees with their other ideas.

Looks like Bill Ayers is already cashing his favors with Obama, and we have a new Attorney General who suppressed information from the Justice Department, was criticized in a Congressional Report and was involved in pardoning terrorists.

Stupid people do stupid things. It is equally stupid to bomb a myriad of locations in our country and never repent of those actions. It is stupid to try to overturn our government but it is not stopping Bill, I wish I would have bombed more, Ayers. Ayers is an embarrassment of anything that is good. If he hates America so much get out.
