The activity increased in popularity after World War II, particularly in California, due to returning soldiers, many of whom had been given technical training in the service. This is a way of paying homage and tribute to a man and legend who helped to shape the custom car industry with his innovations, ideas, commitments and excellence. Everyone goes at some point but he clearly went too soon. Here's to remembering Boyd.
