It's Still Rock & Roll To Me By Billy Joel!!!!!Lyrics"Can't you tell that your tie's too wide?"Maybe I should buy some old tab collars?"Welcome back to the age of jive.Where have you been hidin' out lately, honey? You can't dress trashy till you spend a lot of money."Everybody's talkin' 'bout the new soundFunny, but it's still rock and roll to meWhat's the matter with the car I'm driving?"Can't you tell that it's out of style?"Should I get a set of while wall tires?"Are you gonna cruise the miracle mile?Nowadays you can't be too sentimentalYour best bet's a true baby blue Continental."Hot funk, cool punk, even if it's old junkIt's still rock and roll to meOh, it doesn't matter what they say in the papers'Cause it's always been the same old scene. There's a new band in townBut you can't get the sound from a story in a magazine...Aimed at your average teenHow about a pair of pink sidewindersAnd a bright orange pair of pants?"You could really be a Beau Brummel babyIf you just give it half a chance.Don't waste your money on a new set of speakers,You get more mileage from a cheap pair of sneakers."Next phase, new wave, dance craze, anywaysIt's still rock and roll to meWhat's the matter with the crowd I'm seeing?"Don't you know that they're out of touch?"Should I try to be a straight `A' student?"If you are then you think too much.Don't you know about the new fashion honey? All you need are looks and a whole lotta money."It's the next phase, new wave, dance craze, anywaysIt's still rock and roll to meEverybody's talkin' 'bout the new soundFunny, but it's still rock and roll to me

Having done all my pre-flight checks, including the brummel hooks I launched in fairly brisk conditions at this site on the north coast of Kent and set off eastwards down the shore - a mixture of low broken coastal ridges and cliffs. A couple of kilometres down the shore it occurred to me that I really ought to go back and get my helmet-cam, so I did and re-launched.What I didn't realise was that in the process of doing that my right hand side brummel hook had accidentally disconnected itself, and in my enthusiasm to get airborne with my helmet-cam did not do a second check. It was a couple of days later at Devil's Dyke, when doing a pre-flight check that I noticed that the right brummel hook was disconnected, and wondered. It was when I was editing this particular movie that I noticed the right brummel hook dangling freely in the wind. First I began to notice that I couldn't get myself well out from the ridge/cliffs, using the bar, which with the benefit of hindsight lacked a certain "bite." Then I found myself pinned and slowly going backwards. I had lots of height - plenty to clear the caravan village and land in the fields behind - and I thought of it very much as an out-landing, which always has a sense of adventure to it. Then a friendly local white van driver gave me a lift back to launch ..... thanks again :) But, reflecting afterwards on all the other coastal sites I've flown and possibilities of rotor, buildings, trees and power lines was sobering, to say the least. I also noticed at the Dyke pilots slope landing, mushrooming, re-launching without second checks, on the basis that "the first flight of the day is the checking flight - everything after that will be okay" and realised I wasn't alone.Lesson learned - A PRE-FLIGHT CHECK EVERY TIME AND NOT JUST THE FIRST TIME BOOTS LEAVE THE GROUND.And a passing thought. On the way out I passed a local guy walking his dog."Hi there!" I waved."You're F***ing mental!" he called back.Do you think that was because he saw my loose brummel hook?

Ballmer wasn't about to take no for an answer. Picking up a traveling golf putter, the Microsoft chief started taking it apart as he barreled around Brummel's office, hammering home why she was the perfect candidate. After more than two hours, Ballmer ended the meeting. By then the putter was in pieces. "Sorry about the golf club," he said.

If you followed the story of Victory Records (one the biggest independent Hardcore/Punk/Emo record labels,) you might recall label owner Tony Brummel's rant about the iTunes store, saying it "stole the sole of music" and made music "disposable" and "faceless." Well, anyway... I guess it's just another 'victory' for Apple.
