watch the video if you havent already and then read the storyy :] The Day was here. Sophia woke up bright and early, although she hadn't slept much the night before. She was too excited and nervous about her interview with the talent agency. She quietly slid out of bed. The clock said 6:00. "Only three hours," she thought as she walked down the hall to her bathroom. Turning the shower on hot, she stood facing the mirror. "Good morning, God," she smiled. "Please, PLEASE, help me do well today. I really, really want to be accepted into the agency. But then, I guess You already knew that," Sophia thought as she giggled to herself.* * * * * An hour later, Sophia was showered and dressed nicely in her favorite jeans and the baby blue shirt she had bought the day before. The shirt looked amazing with her blond hair and clear blue eyes. Sophia sat at her desk straightening her hair. "Two hours," she thought excitedly. She could hear her parents moving around downstairs. "I wonder if I woke them up," she thought absentmindedly. Running the straightener through her hair one last time, she grabbed her make-up and brushed some of it on. Sophia twisted off the cap of her mascara and applied it carefully, making sure her naturally light eyelashes looked dark and full. She smiled as she smoothed on her favorite Pink Pout lip gloss and surveyed her final look. "Not half bad," she thought cheerfully as she slipped on her heels and headed downstairs. "Hey Mom, hey Dad," Sophia called as she walked into the kitchen. "Good morning, darling." "Morning, hon." "What's for breakfast?" Sophia asked as she walked to the pantry. "Bacon, eggs, and biscuits," her mom replied. "Thanks," Sophia said, sitting down at the kitchen counter. She gobbled her food down as quickly as she could without giving herself a huge case of the hiccups and ran to the bathroom to brush her teeth. After making sure her teeth were sparkling white and her breath smelled like spearmint mouthwash, Sophia walked back into the kitchen. "We need to leave soon, Mom," she called through the house as she grabbed her purse and cell phone. "Alright, let's go," her mom said, walking into the kitchen from the living room. She picked up her sunglasses from the dining room table and fished her car keys out of her purse. Sophia and her mom walked out the side door of their house that led to the garage and climbed into the just-washed-and-waxed Lexus SUV. Sophia slipped on her movie star sunglasses as they pulled out of the driveway and headed across town to the most exciting appointment of her life.* * * * * "Sophia Ross. Mr. Daniels is ready for you now." Sophia slid the magazine she was reading into her purse and followed the receptionist into a back office, her mom trailing close behind. "Sophia Ross, nice to meet you," said a kind looking young man. He had to be no more than thirty years old. "Hi!" Sophia said cheerfully; partly to impress Mr. Daniels with her calmness and professionalism and partly to stop the forming butterflies in their tracks. Mr. Daniels walked around his desk and shook hands in turn with both Sophia and her mother and gestured to the comfortable chairs in front of his desk. "Well," he said, "I see you are even prettier in real life than in the pictures. Congratulations, you've already passed the hardest part of this interview. Let's just see if you have what it takes to make it in the business." "Alright," Sophia replied, sitting down and giving Mr. Daniels her best smile.* * * * * She couldn't believe it! She was in! This was the best day of her life, Sophia was sure. The interview had gone amazingly well, and Mr. Daniels had said the agency would be thrilled to accept her. "We'll get some pictures taken to start your portfolio, and you should have jobs in no time," he had said. "Thanks so much, God!" Sophia kept repeating over and over in her head on the drive home. "I couldn't have done this without you. I always thought I could be an actress, but now I KNOW I CAN!"

This is a group of Chinese opera (Hokkien) actors rehearsing for a show titled "The Butterfly Lovers". The show's to be staged next Sunday, but we're still having hiccups now and then!
