It was directed by Joseph Khan. It has his usual high tech glossy feel to the production of the video. He worked with Britney on "Stronger" and "Toxic". He also worked with Black Eyed Peas, Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, The Pussycat Dolls, etc. His work tends to be more visually enforced than actually telling a story to the song. His story usually entails the singer going on a journey I won't lie and say that I wasn't looking forward to this video. I also won't lie and say that I am not disappointed. As soon as I heard that Joseph Khan was involved I knew that it was going to have that high gloss look with zero substance. I am not saying that a video needs to solve world peace but seriously folks...... it's soooooo been done. There is one cool special effect in this video. I thought the clothes bit was fun to watch. I did think though that the effect vaguely reminded me of Madonna's "Frozen" video. Remember when Madonna burst into a bunch of crows? Yeah, basically the same effect with a different variable
