Recorded in Koblenz / Germany on the 6th of July 2008. The Band: Lulo Reinhardt (g, leader), Doug Martin (g), Daniel Weltinger (vio), Harald Becher (b), Uli Krämer (dr). I was late recording, sorry, but what a great performance... no idea who the rapper was, but he could have been easily the (grand-)father of all the other rappers.

Django Reinhardt - Limehouse Blues. The band is the Quintette du Hot Club de France. Stephane Grappeli plays the violin, Louis Vola plays the double-bass. Not sure about the rhythm guitar, but it's probably Joseph Reinhardt, Roger Chaput or Pierre Ferret, and of course, Django. Limehouse Blues, a popular jazz standard, was written in 1921 by Phillip Braham (music) and Douglas Furber (lyrics), about Limehouse, a place in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
