A booking agent, facing similar charges, appeared in court last month.The alleged founder of the club has pleaded *not guilty*, and is awaiting trial.As for New York's disgraced ex-governor...he hasn't been charged, but he apologized and stepped down after the story broke back in March.Spitzer's involvement was discovered during an investigation into suspicious cash transfers. Federal agents eventually tapped his phone calls and analyzed his bank records.No word yet on whether prosecutors plan to charge him with breaking any laws.

Obams says that if Kentucky and Oregon's results turn out like expected, he'll have a majority of pledged delegates.Senator Ed Kennedy is not expected back at work this week. A spokeswoman for the Democratic icon says Kennedy will likely stay in the hospital a couple of more days while doctors try to determine the cause of the seizure he suffered on Saturday. President Bush called the Massachusetts senator yesterday to offer his support.Chinese officials say the death toll from last week's devastating earthquake now stands at 40 thousand. A quarter of a million people are believed to be injured. The country is bracing themselves for more aftershocks as massive relief efforts are underway. Workers are continuing to search under collapsed buildings for victims who are trapped.New York Governor David Paterson is in the hospital today undergoing tests. He was taken to Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York this morning after reportedly suffering from migraine-like symptoms. Pateron's office says all preliminary tests were reportedly normal. Pateron took office in March when Eliot Spitzer resigned amid his alleged connection to a prostitution ring.That's all for now.
