Cuenta con 60.9 kilómetros de longitud de la red carretera, de los cuales 45.5 kilómetros son de caminos rurales revestidos y 15.4 kilómetros son de brechas mejoradas. Existe además, un aeródromo con longitud de pista no determinada. La población es atendida en el municipio por centros de salud de la Secretaría de Salud, así como por las unidades IMSS-Solidaridad, ISSSTE y una clínica particular en Nueva Peñoles, que data del año de 1947. Al 31 de diciembre de 1997, cuenta con 8 unidades médicas: una del ISSSTE, 4 del IMSS-Solidaridad, una de la SS, una del CREE, y una particular. No es autosuficiente en la producción de los consumos básicos, los trasladan de otros municipios. I didn't get to go to the Rally for the Republic, I bought my ticket, but I didn't want to leave my wife and daughter alone for that long, so I backed out with much regret. However, I am glad I bought a ticket to support the event in some small way, and I am watching the coverage on the event on the REAL media, the Ron Paul youtube channels and freedom.tv. Do yourself a favor and check out the coverage of the Rally for the Republic, it is truly inspiring, and if you are a Ron Paul supporter, join the Campaign for Liberty! This fight is just getting started, and we need to keep supporting Ron Paul and his message of liberty, prosperity and peace!
