Rhapsody in Blue, By George Gershwin (1924)

Probably one of the most classic songs an American Writer has ever produced.Since the whole composition is too long to contain on even one disk, it has to be filmed within two. This is part 1 of 2.Sorry about the outside noises, I was recording this while doing some work, as my camera took the music in from the radio. This is the original, made by Gershwin.

Oscar Levant, a mid-century pianist, film star and wit, once watched noted keyboardist and composer George Gershwin spend an evening playing his own music at a party and clearly having a great time.
