COLOMBIA Agustin Julio - 6.0: Wasn't called upon much during the match, but made some important saves towards the end of the match. If it wasn't for his security Colombia could have lost the match by more goals.Camilo Zuniga - 4.0: Was the main reason for Colombia's problems in the defense. Allowed the Uruguay attack to come into the match and was at fault with the goal. Appeared worn out after the break.Luis Perea - 4.0: Looked very fragile at times, and was constantly knocked to the ground by the physical Uruguayans. Quite fast when moving forward, however.Aquivaldo Mosquera - 6.5: Was a rock in the centre of the Colombia defense. The Sevilla man was by far Colombia's best defender and often did the work of three players. A motivating display.Estiven Velez - 4.0: Very shaky in the Colombian defense. Uruguay didn't attack too much, but when they did it was because of Velez's lack of confidence. He didn't live up to his reputation and struggled a great deal.Carlos Sanchez - 5.0: A disappointing match from the usually reliable defender. Was at fault on a couple of opportunities, particularly in the final ten minutes of the match. Very weak production.Freddy Guarin - 7.0: Dominated the midfield in the second half. But towards the end of the match he looked very nervous, and his production gradually decreased.Fabian Vargas - 5.5: Linked up nicely with Hernandez in the midfield, and always delivered precise balls. For some reason he was substituted during the break.Giovanni Hernandez - 6.0: Very tricky in the attacking third, and was very difficult to close down for the Uruguayan defenders. A good match, but still more is expected of him.Hugo Rodallega - 7: Colombia's most dangerous attacking player. Tormented the Uruguay defense at times, but wasn't provided with the right service. Always looked for the equalizer, and came close to scoring late on.Radamel Falcao Garcia - 4.5: Extremely quiet for his high standards. Falcao is a great player, but without the right midfielders he just doesn't tick. Should have looked for the ball more.Substitutes: Macnelly Torres - 5.5: Had an impact on the match after coming on, and looked strong in the midfield as Colombia went looking for a late equalizer.Tressor Moreno - 6.5: A good option in the Colombian attack. Always looked lively, and could have been awarded two penalties. A very aggressive player.Dayro Moreno -- 4.5: Had minimal impact on the match. Wasn't provided with the right service, and had an off day.URUGUAYJuan Castillo - 8.5: A brilliant performance by the new Uruguay no.1. Made some great saves, and always looked secure. He played a smart game, and motivated his side with his leadership skills.Bruno Silva - 6: Played well in the first half, but seemed to tire after the break. He lacked the speed to deal with the Colombian wingers and was substituted.Diego Lugano - 9: A rock in the centre of the Uruguay defense. He controlled his markers, and played a perfect match. Without doubt one of the best defenders in the world at the moment.Diego Godin - 8.5: Like Lugano, played a brilliant match. Kept the Colombian attackers at bay, and always looked solid.Jorge Fucile - 7: Was consistent, like usual, and didn't make too many mistakes. Didn't see much of the ball in the second half.Maximiliano Pereira - 6.0: Had an average match. Did well to intercept some important balls, but faded as the match progressed.Sebastian Eguren - 9.0: Easily the man-of-the-match. Not only did he score the eventual match winner, but he was very lively in the midfield. Has certainly won himself a starting role for all future matches.Walter Gargano - 6.5: Worked hard throughout the match, and looked very determined to win every ball possible in the midfield. Was at fault for some bad passes earlier in the match.Cristian Rodriguez - 6.0: A quiet game for his usual high standards. The FC Porto winger didn't make much of an impact, but still managed to demonstrate his quality. Luis Suarez - 5.0: Found it difficult to deal with the tall Colombian defenders. He seemed off touch, and failed to live up to expectation.Diego Forlan - 7.5: Always looked lively, and proved his quality when on the ball. Should have put away at least two clear-cut goal-scoring opportunities.Substitutes:Vicente Sanchez - 5.0: Found difficulty controlling the ball and was imprecise with his finishing.
