CHAPTER 2!I was walking away and heard Nick yell at Joe. I figured whatever Joe had said Nick deserved (sp?) it. I know you may think that's a little mean, but you don't know how bad he hurt me. My cell phone started to play Money Honey by State Of Shock. Joe had texted me. This was our text conversation. "Hey!" He texted. "Ello" I replied. "Y did u jus walk off?" He asked. "Well if u havent noticed im not excetly on speaking terms with Nick." I said kinda annoyed he'd ask that when he knew the answer. He didn't reply. So I kept walking home. I didn't live to far from them. I would say three blocks. So I got home pretty quickly. Joe finally texted me back. "oh yea. Ur mom jus invited us 4 dinner." I was furious. "MOM!!!" I yelled. She came running into my room. "What? What's Wrong?" She asked scared out of her mind. "Nothing. Except you invited the Jonas' over!" I yelled. "Don't you yell at me!" She was getting mad. *btw: Emma's moms name is Hayley.* "I'll yell at you if I want!" I barked. "Watch it or your grounded." She said furious. "Now straighten up and calm down. They'll be here any minute." She said calming down. "I'm not eating." I said in a flat tone. "You are and that's final." With that she walked out of my room. I got up when i heard the doorbell ring and heard the voices downstaires(sp). I walked to my door, slamed it shut and locked it and stood against my door, slid to the floor and cried. I heard footsteps in the hall and they knocked on my door. "Go away!" I said trying to stop crying. "Em it's Joey" I'm the only person he let's call him Joey. He hates it when other people do. "Go away." I re-said. "Emmy Marie please open." He said concerned. I slowly stood up and opened the door. He took one look at me and gave me the biggest hug. "Emmy what's wrong?" He asked. I went and sat on the edge of my bed. Joe followed. "I don't wanna go down there." I answered. "That's nothing to cry over." He said. "I"m not crying because of that." I said getting a little mad. "Then tell me" He said simply. And i replied simply. "No." and went to the bathroom to fix my makeup. My mom was calling for me. It was 'Time'. Ugh. When i got down Kevin was standing there with open arms. "Kevin!!!" I squealed. He picked me up and twirlled me around. "I missed you Emmy!" He said happily. "I missed you too!!" I said. "Will you sit beside me? Please?" I whispered in his ear. He looked over at nick at looked back at me. He nodded.(Nick POV)Joe went and sat on the pourch again. I walked over and sat beside him. "I'm sorry man." I said. I really was. I just got mad because Emmy left. "It's iight." He replied. "iight. So how has she been?" I asked about Emmy. "Here's what I don't get Nick." He started. "How can you not say goodbye to her or even pick up the phone and give her a call every now and then. And you want to know how shes doing." "You know how hard it was to leave her." "But you dont know how many times i've talked to her, trying to make her stop crying because of you." "Wait. She cried?" "Nick maybe you should learn to think of other people befor yourself." Just then Kevin walked back out. "Guess what guys?!?!" He said excited. "What?" I asked. "We get to see EMMY!" He replied. "Man you missed her. I already saw her she just left." Joe said. "No way." Kevin said. "Wait when?" I asked. "Tonight. Hayley invited us for dinner." Kevin answered. Finally it was time for dinner. Mom and Dad weren't coming because they had alot of unpacking. Frankie went to Mike's house. Mike was his best freind. So we were walking to her house. When we got there we could hear yelling. We couldn't understand what they were saying though. We each looked at one another. We were wondering what was going on. They never fought two years ago. Just then Kevin rang the doorbell. Thirty seconds later we were inside. "Nice to see you boys again!" Mrs. Rothe said. *not my last name. Prounced: Roth-y.* "You too!" Kevin said. Then I heard a door slam upstairs. Joe went up to see if Emmy was okay. "Boys I need to tell you something" She started. "Me and my husband are going through a divorce and Emma's taking it pretty hard. So if you could be careful what you say around her, i'd appreciate it." "of course" Me and Kevin said at the same time. "Thank you. Emma, Joe come on!" She yelled. Emma walked down the steps. I could tell she was crying. But she saw Kevin and a smile crept across her face. "Kevin!!" She said. Well kinda screamed. Then they were talking. She whispered something to him and looked at me then back to her and nodded.how will dinner go?is it too long? it was 4 notebook pages. so tell me if you want it shorter. ill make it shorter.and i get my cell back today! yay u c i broke it n now it back! razr2!!! yay!
