The truth hurts, doesn't it Obama. The Comrades are getting upset! It seems they are not able to set the agenda. If they are not able to set the agenda, then there is no doubt that Obama's prospect of getting elected will diminish day by day, because he will only be left with his worn out record of, hope and change.Truth hurts ObamaPosted: August 18, 20081:00 am EasternBy: Roger HedgecockThe vigorous assault by the Obama campaign and its surrogates in the media on Dr, Jerome Corsi over his New York Times bestseller "The Obama Nation" provided more revealing truths about Barack Obama. Corsi is to Obama what the National Enquirer was to John Edwards. For example, the blistering 40-page rebuttal to Corsi's book put out by the Obama campaign could not deny that the "Frank" in Obama's 1995 book "Dreams From My Father," the "mentor" to young Barack, was in fact Frank Marshall Davis, a Communist Party member. Davis' many writings and poems are filled with communist propaganda, including anti-American statements which became the subject of investigation by the FBI and numerous congressional committees. In another revealing rebuttal point, the Obama campaign sought to play down the connection between Obama and '60s-era terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn saying the two were "members of the establishment" Which "establishment"? The anarchists? The communists? The "rebuttal" to Corsi's book could not dispel the ghost of Saul Alinsky either. The radical organizer and author of "Rules for Radicals" (hint: there are no rules), Alinsky was and is Obama's role model (and Hillary's too). Alinsky preached the destruction of America's capitalist society by organizing the masses through calls for "change." Sound familiar? The Obama rebuttal to "The Obama Nation" saves about a third of its pages to a personal attack on author Dr. Jerome Corsi, a Catholic, who it turns out has said some provocative things in the past about the pope. It looks like Barack Obama learned something from the Clintons -- when the nasty truth hurts, attack the messenger. The "politics of personal destruction" reverberated around the media this past week, with Corsi attacked by Obama acolytes like the frothing-at-the-mouth Keith Obermann. Corsi kept his cool, and his book will be No. 1 on the NYT again this week.I interviewed Corsi for my radio show. He patiently went through the carefully researched book (almost 700 footnotes), declining to speculate on matters that could not be fully documented -- like the questionable Hawaii birth certificate. He expected the personal attacks, he said, especially after Sen. John Kerry, reliving a supposed mistake from his 2004 campaign, urged Barack Obama to attack Corsi for "swift boating" again. Corsi's swift boat book hurt Kerry then, and Corsi's book hurts Obama now for the same reason. Both books are well researched and true -- and the truth hurts.Year 2008 should be a Democratic landslide year. An unpopular president, an unpopular war and unsettling economic news combine to give the "change" candidate every advantage. So why is Barack Obama not 15 to 20 points ahead of his 71-year-old rival? After a summer of body surfing in Hawaii, preaching world citizenship to a rock concert audience in Berlin, announcing an energy policy consisting of putting air in our tires and calling for U.N. mediation of the Russian rape of Georgia, Barack Obama remains in a dead heat with John McCain. The Obama story -- and the words and deeds that accompanied the story -- inspired the hard-left primary voters and hardcore caucus goers. The same story in Obama's own words and as documented in Corsi's "The Obama Nation" is simply not selling as well to everyday, pragmatic American voters who wonder how ready he is to be commander in chief when his negotiation with defeated rival Hillary Clinton gave the Clintons three of four nights at the Democratic Convention.

Attorney General Mark Bennett and DOT Director Brennon Morioka Governor join House and Senate republicans in applauding the Governor Linda Lingle for signing two critically important automobile safety bills into law that will save the lives of Hawai`i residents. First, Attorney General Mark Bennett talks about reducing the risk of endangering the lives of children by preventing them from being left unattended in vehicles.Second, DOT Director Brennon Morioka speaks about the measures will protect the public from drunk drivers."There are grave health consequences to a leaving a child in a car unattended for a long period of time" said Representative Lynn Finnegan. "A 2003 CDC study found that during July 2000 to June 2001 an estimated 9,160 non-fatal injuries and 78 fatal injuries occurred in children 14 and younger as a result of being left unattended in or around motor vehicles not in traffic. At least other twelve states have found this problem serious enough to adopt similar language and it is time that Hawaii joins them. I thank Governor Lingle for signing this important bill."Today the governor will sign Senate Bill 2245, an important bill for the safety of our children. The bill will make it violation of the statewide traffic to leave a child under the age of unattended in a motor vehicle for 5 minutes or longer. The legislation will additionally insure the safety of children by requiring the driver's exam to specifically test the applicant's knowledge of the traffic code regarding leaving a child unattended in a motor vehicle This legislation will also ensure the safety of our young children by granting law enforcement officers, firefighters, or rescue team personnel the ability to use whatever means that are necessary to protect the child and remove the child from the motor vehicle if the official believes the unattended child is in physical danger."This part of the bill will be very helpful to ensure the safety of our keiki," said Representative Corinne Ching. "There is no greater punishment than the loss of a child, and as a parent of a young child, I sympathize with parents who have considered leaving children in their car because the errand will only take a few seconds. But this law will help make it clear that the risk is not worth the consequence." "As a parent, I'd much rather pay the fine than find my child hurt," concluded Representative Lynn Finnegan."DUI is a major statewide problem. This ignition interlock program will save lives," said House Minority Leader Lynn Finnegan in response to the Governor signing House Bill 3377 into law today. HB 3377 permits installation of the ignition interlock device on the vehicle of a person convicted for driving under the influence. The device prevents a motorist from starting or operating a motor vehicle with more than a minimal alcohol concentration while the person's license is revoked. This law also requires installation when the person is arrested for being a highly intoxicated driver or for a repeat driving under the influence offense. "According to testimony before the House, Hawaii is one of only five states without an ignition interlock statute, and according to the Fatality Analysis Reporting System (FARS), there were 79 alcohol-related fatalities in 2007, representing 49.1% of all of Hawaii's traffic fatalities. Only three other states have higher percentages than Hawaii," added House Minority Floor Leader Colleen Meyer."The ignition interlock system would provide a technically feasible solution in helping to reduce the high number of alcohol-related fatalities and injuries. It has been proven effective in battling drunk driving in New Mexico, West Virginia, and Ohio where repeat offender rates have decreased between 50 to 90%." "As leaders in our communities, we need to take a stand and let drunk drivers know that we are not going to stand by and let another innocent person get killed unnecessarily." said Representative Finnegan. "The ignition interlock systems will make our streets, on the Leeward, Windward, and Kona Coasts, and H-1, much safer. Bottom line, this will save lives."Both House and Senate Republicans included measures within their Joint Legislative Package to establish an ignition interlock program.

Sorry this is very boring, rambling, and longwinded. I'm not exactly eloquent in speech. I recorded this as an immediate reaction to this "Reverend"'s disturbing video, which I saw first thing in the morning. I really didn't expect it to get any more views than my other videos.I just intended this video as a means to lay out the following information:--All Democratic candidates agreed to not campaign in Florida or Michigan, as the Democratic National Committee ruled against the legitimacy of the states' proposed Primary dates.--Barack was not as widely-known as an----at least a viable----candidate as Hillary until after he won the Iowa Caucuses. So, if he had the chance to campaign in either state, it is very likely that he would have developed much more of a following in either state.--Barack was not on the ballot in Michigan, certainly obscuring a possibility to vote "Uncommited" for him, and certainly obscuring a purpose to.--The Clinton campaign excludes the popular vote estimates from several Caucus states, including Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wyoming. They are free to do this as the process of estimating is so strange anyway, but it certainly is far from reasonable. This video is NOT meant to trash Hillary; it is meant to counter some MISinformation with *actual* information. For the good of party unity, I think it is proper to know that Barack Obama is by all fair means the nominee. I hope Hillary has a high place in the Barack's campaign moving forward, as well as in his White House! This is a video response to "Urgent message to Senator Hillary Clinton" on the channel "ATLAHWorldwide":http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UuysWJDP6J4&feature=bz301

Look at Clinton's math. She leads only if you give her 328,000 votes for the Soviet-style Michigan election, while giving Obama zero for not being on the ballot. And if you then ignore the caucuses of Iowa, Nevada, Maine, and my own state of Washington -- where a record quarter million people turned out to participate. Our votes don't count under Clinton's math. She disappears them down the memory hole of history in an argument that invents reality as much as Bush's claims of Iraq Weapons of Mass Destruction or Clinton's earlier story about running the gauntlet of Bosnian sniper fire. Clinton said, "No matter what happens, I will work as hard as I can to elect a Democratic president this fall." But then she insisted once again, that "we are winning the popular vote." This lie undermined every word she said about coming together...The superdelegates understand the real math, or they ought to. But given the "bitterness" of so many Clinton supporters toward reality that the woman they thought would be America's first female president will not be, the more they hear a story that suggests Obama's win is illegitimate, the more likely they are to bolt. If Clinton's voters embrace that story that "a man took it away from a woman," denied her a victory she rightly deserved, they're at risk of staying home come November, or holding back from the volunteering and the get out the vote efforts necessary for the Democrats to prevail...polls actually have Obama doing marginally better in Michigan than Clinton, nor have they explored the impact of roughly 60,000 Democratic voters who crossed over in Michigan to vote Republican...Clinton's argument also ignores that this isn't how the rules are set up, and that if they had been, Obama would have made more than three brief visits to California and one to New York State. Clinton's been praised of late for refraining from any truly outrageous comments, like her claim, following the Indiana and North Carolina primaries two weeks ago, that only she has the support of hard working white voters...every time she claims she has a popular majority, she's shattering whatever ceasefire exists and making it that much more likely that her supporters stay home come November. If she really wants a united party, she needs to stop, and the media and the superdelegates need to hold her accountable.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/paul-loeb/the-bosnian-sniper-math-o_b_102979.htmlIt is incomprehensible to me that Mrs. Clinton can seriously be touting the notion...that she is leading in the popular vote and should therefore be seriously considered as the most electable candidate in the November election. She's including those who voted for her in Florida and Michigan's name recognition ballot saying that to exclude them would be to disenfranchise them. What about the Democrats in Alaska, American Samoa, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota, Nebraska, Washington, Hawaii and Wyoming who did not cast ballots because they were playing by the pledged delegates playbook and voted by caucus. What about them? Certainly if the rules are going to be changed and judgment is based on the 'popular' vote those voters in the eleven caucus states and Samoa will be disenfranchised. What about them? And what about us? What about the American people? Haven't we had enough of Mrs. Clinton's mad antics in her pursuit of the realization of venal personal ambition; her 'say anything, do anything, no matter what' effort to manipulate our all too willing media to gull this country's populace into believing that her wretched illegitimacy is indeed legitimate. How much mendacity do we have to suffer, how much brazenness do we have to swallow before someone, anyone, has the decency, the common sense, to relieve us of this terrible trifle, this pathetic madness?http://www.huffingtonpost.com/donald-sutherland/hillarys-popular-vote-not_b_104152.htmlWhat you'll see televised from the DNC's Rules and By-laws Committee meeting on Saturday, May 31, will be a swarm of irate Hillary Backers carrying signs and protesting any possible outcome of the Mich./Fl. debacle other than a no-fault decision with the votes going to HRC. She needs 'em. And she needs the rules changed, despite the fact that she agreed with the DNC's decision last fall. But that was when she was still "inevitable"...Whether he liked them or not, Senator Obama played by the DNC's rules in Michigan and Florida. Senator Clinton thought the rules were just fine so long as she was front runner and destined to win the nomination. The specter of losing compels Hillary to change the rules. Of course, she's not playing this bait and switch game only because she has to win this thing any way she can--she's the new, improved populist who cannot bear the thought of a single vote not counting for all it's worth.
