In this demonstration, I will show you how easy it is to actually put on an wear a Gas Mask or Respirator. In the demo I use two different types of masks. 1) A military respirator: Avon U.K. 1993 S10 Gas Mask/Respirator. (S.A.S.)2) A cilivian gas mask: Israeli Gas Mask.To put over your head and tighten the straps works the same way for both masks. They almost work like how you would put on scuba goggles or a scuba masks. It's a rubber harness that holds the mask to your face and the straps adjust the comfort and tension to your face. First, throw the big rubber flat part on the back off your head/skull and easily slide the rest of the mask over your face. Wearing balaclava's sometimes makes gas masks and respirators more comfortable but just be sure to leave opening's for you to inhale and exhale easily without struggling.Once the masks is firmly in place, take out your air canister/filter and open up both sides, top and bottom. DON'T FORGET to pull off sealed piece and nob each time or you'll sufficate yourself.Place the bottom opening, where you screw the nob off, and place it in the hole for air to come in and out through the filter. Rotate upwards until it's tight and locked in and your ready to go!
