Barack Obama's Campaign Problems, from A to Z

Here is the script. A is for An ACADEMIC, is he too much of one? And does this mean he's unable to have down-home fun? "B" is for too Black or not black enough, is he the former or the latter, and If we've transcended race, does it really matter?C is for "Dealing with Hillary CLINTON", now there's a sticky wicket! Can he assuage her supporters without her on the ticket? D is for DENVER, where, at the Democratic convention, his campaign officially kicks off. But will all the "Environmental Correctness," and such, make voters scoff? (For example, measuring the carbon footprint. No fried foods on the menu.)E is for EXPERIENCE, does he have enough? He has a great ability to listen to people, including those who have the "right stuff."F is for FRIENDS, such as Tony Rezko and Bill Ayres. But hey, he lives in Chicago, the home of the Bears.G is for bloGers, and the Internet as a whole. Imagine all the mischief that bloggers can sow.H is for HOPE, but let's not forget faith and charity. Also, is hope really such a rarity?I is for the war in IRAQ, which he opposed from the start, but was the disaster that ensued preordained? As things stand now we must look forward, rather than "looking back".J is for JOHN McCain, didn't he get some things right? Way back, McCain wanted more of our troops put into the fight.K is for KNOW-HOW, as in knowing how to get things done. Around the gridlock in Washington, can Obama do an end run? L is for Flag LAPEL pin, which he chose to stop wearing. He wears one now, but is this gesture the damage repairing?M is for MUSLIM, some voters still think he's one, and some others think that the real ones he's shunned.N is for NASTY, as right-wing talk-radio hosts can be, as they try to vilify Obama, with gusto and glee.O is for "The ONES we've been waiting for", but what if others show up at the door?.P is for PROUD to be an American, which it apparently took his wife Michelle a long time to feel, or did she simply overstate things in a moment of zeal?Q is for al-QAEDA, whom he says, correctly, are the ones we should pursue, but will they try to add their poison to the campaign stew?R is for RACISM, which is largely dormant but hasn't died, so how many white voters will, in the end, not put race aside? (I am not implying that voting for McCain makes one a racist.) S is for the SURGE, a word he won't utter. Many think the Surge is working, but it often seems to stutter.T is for the Bush TAX cuts, which he wants to let expire, but there are plenty of fat cats who'll try to put his feet to the fire.U is for "Is he really one of US?" About this some blue-collar whites worry, as they cling to their guns and to their churches they hurry. (without the guns, of course!)V is for "VICTORY in Iraq" (whatever that means), which many desire, while many others just want us out. In any case it's going to take time to bring a successful conclusion about.W is for the Rev. Jeremiah WRIGHT, his longtime, oft-ranting pastor. Will his recent antics yet prove a disaster?X is for the X, which by your candidate's name you place. Will he get enough of these X's in the "Battleground" states? Y is for WHY aren't his poll numbers moving ahead, with economic distress in this country so widespread?. Z is for ZEITGEIST, is he too worldly-wise? After his speech in Berlin that is what some people surmise.

Transcript of Jeremiah Wright's speech to NAACP
The NAACP has an incomparable record. It has the longest list of achievements in the history of this country as being the undisputed champion in the fight against discrimination, racial prejudice, and unjust public policies, which have caused people made in the image of God to be treated as less than human or treated as second-class citizens.

Obama gets much of his "feeling and rhetoric" from Wright
As Senator Obama desperately tries to distance himself from Pastor Wright, an article about Obama from Rolling Stone in 2007 indicates "If you want to understand where Barack gets his feeling and rhetoric from," says the Rev. Jim Wallis, a leader of the religious left, "just look at Jeremiah Wright."

Obama’s Class Warfare - Product of the ’60s
Barack Hussein Obama cut his teeth hanging out with radicals and that is a fact. We’ve written and written about these people - Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr., Louis Farrakhan, Rev. Michael Pfleger, William Ayers, and Bernadine Dorhn for starters.

Black Liberation Theology and the Nation of Islam
While researching the source of Michelle Obama’s alleged “whitey” rant, we discovered direct connections between the Nation of Islam (NOI), Stokely Carmichael, Jeremiah Wright’s Black Liberation Theology and, most prominently, Louis Farrakhan.

Obama not 'black' enough for Jeremiah Wright?
The angry feelings that Jeremiah Wright has about the treatment of African-Americans are obvious. However, what is confusing and troubling for many people is why he is apparently bringing forth this anger and these complaints, many of which may be legitimate, in ways that divide Americans and damage the candidacy of Barack Obama.

The Obama Smears
Corsi’s approach to politics is both destructive and self-destructive. If Senator Obama loses, he should lose on the merits: his record in public life and his political philosophy. It’s legitimate to take into account Obama’s past associations with people like the Reverend Jeremiah Wright–it wrong and reckless to throw out unsubstantiated smears.

Marine Jeremiah Wright, SEAL Jesse Venture speak bluntly
Jeremiah Wright is obviously an individual with strong feelings and views. He’s not shy about speaking his mind and he's not politically correct. Those traits can be a blessing or a curse for the political campaign of Barack Obama. He might remind some people of blunt-talking former Minnesota governor Jesse Ventura, a former Navy SEAL.

Study: Media Covered Up Reverend Wright's Extremism
The three major network news outlets “censored and manipulated” Barack Obama’s longtime pastor Jeremiah Wright’s sound bites to cover up his extremism, a new study by the Media Research Center charges.

Wright’s female liberation theology doppelganger
Barack Obama threw his pastor Jeremiah Wright under the bus for dissing Obama as just another politician. He will embrace Leah Daughtry, Wright’s female liberation theology doppelganger, at the Democratic National convention for, as DNC Chair Howard Dean’s chief of staff, he has “commissioned” her to orchestrate the convention.
