Kevin was waiting there, leaning against the wall."There you are," he said seductively.I walked up to him and pressed my body against his. Then I heard a door open down the hallway and saw a little figure appear. I jumped away from Kevin."What are you doing out of bed, Jacob?""I need to use the baffroom [a.k.a. Bathroom]," he answered."Didn't you just go to the bathroom?" Kevin asked."Yeah. But I gots to goes again," he said."Okay. Go quick and then go back to bed. Your mother and I have to, uh, pay some bills."I looked at Kevin, trying as hard as I could not to laugh.We waited outside the bathroom until Jacob was done. The second his bedroom door was closed, I was pulling Kevin up the stairs toward our own bedroom.I pushed Kevin onto the bed and closed and locked the door behind me. I layed on the top of him and started kissing his neck. We were about to make the beast with two backs when there was a loud crash from downstairs. It sounded like a lamp had fallen over."What was that?" I part whispered, part screamed."I don't know. It sounds like someone's down there," Kevin said. He got off the bed and threw on his boxers and started walking out of the room. I grabbed my robe and followed him. He picked a toy bat off the floor, ready to hit someone. I stood as close as I could behind him and placed my hands on his bare back, looking over his shoulder. We started our way down the staircase and soon I could see the figure of a person rummaging through our stuff. Kevin ran up behind the person and started beating them with the bat. But the person didn't seem budge or appear to be in any pain. Slowly, the figure started to turn. Finally, I could see their face-or her face, to be more accurate. I couldn't believe my eyes. My mouth dropped and I screamed."I'm back," Jenna said in an evil voice. Then she grabbed the baseball bat from Kevin's hands and started hitting him with it.Then, as if things weren't bad enough, everything started shaking. It was an earthquake. I started to scream louder. Suddenly I jolted awake. Kevin was above me, hands on my shoulders, shaking me. When he realized I was awake, he stopped."You were having a nightmare," he said. "You were kicking and screaming."Then I burst into tears. I didn't know why I was crying, I just was.Kevin pulled me into his chest. "Shh. Everything is fine now. It's over."Once I was able to talk, I told Kevin about my dream. "Our lives were perfect. Then Jenna came and ruined it all. It was so horrible!""It's okay. It was just a dream. It's not real.""Yeah, I guess.""Let's just go back to sleep, okay?" he said."Okay." I laid there for a while, staring at the walls. I couldn't fall asleep. I nudged Kevin awake."I can't get to sleep. I'm too scared. Will you stay up with me?"He rapped his arms around me and we laid like that the rest of the night---------------------------------Okay, that wasn't very good. But I bet you didn't see it coming. So something happened today. My dad lost his job, again. This happened about 2 or 3 years ago. And he couldn't find a new job. We almost had to move. But he ended up finding a job at the last minute. Hopefully he will find a new job soon. Cause I really don't want to move. You guys may not know this about me, but I'm like SUPER shy. And going to a new school in the middle of a school year is one of the worst things I can imagine. But anyways.
