Chapter 22:~~LAURENS POV~~~~1 Hour After Kevin Left For The Hospital~~Kevin stormed through our hotel room, and slammed the door after him.I jumped, as Joe woke up, and slid out of my arms."THEIR THINKING ABOUT PULLING HIS PLUG AND LETTING HIM GO!!" Kevin cried.We sat there and cried.I was not ready to give up Nick that easily."What can we do?" I asked through tears.Joe grabbed me into a hug and smoothed my hair down, and kissed my head."All we have to do is say that we want him to stay on life support. It made me so angry that they even CONSIDERED it." Kevin's face got red."Well then that's what we are going to do. We are not giving up on Nick. Not yet. He's my brother, and I'll do anything possible to keep him from dying on me!" Joe said.I felt him flex. He was mad. But I couldn't help but feel something else. I didn't know what it was.Kevin spent the night in our hotel room. He didn't want to go back to his.The next morning I awoke to Frank jumping on the bed.I loved his carefree child mind. If only he knew the real seriousness of the situation.It made me happy though, to see him so happy at this time. Like he knew Nick was going to get better.Days, passed, and soon it had been another week.2 weeks.That's how long it's been since I heard Nicks voice, or talked to him, or anything.I was keeping a daily diary on this whole thing since he was in the hospital. I pulled it out and started writing:Dear Diary,I really missed my Nick. I wish he was ok. I wish things were different, and most of all, I wish I would have listened to my gut. It was trying to tell me something.Regret is one bad feeling, and when you feel it 24/7 for 2 weeks, it starts to drive you insane.Joe was looking worse and worse as the days go, and Kevin just sits there, staring off into nothingness.I often wonder if Joe is slowly slipping into insanity with me.The fans, on the other hand, are amazing. They make me regain some sanity. I think for Joe and Kevin too. They lift our spirits most of the time.They are so strong, and determined.The press, and photographers have left us alone, so that's a good thing. I'm starting to ramble now, and Joe is calling for me.~LaurenI closed my diary, and put it under my pillow, then got up and followed Joe's voice to the bathroom.He was sitting on the floor, trying to straighten his hair."Eh, I don't know how!" he fake cried, then smiled.I giggled, "Do you need some help?""Mmhm, if that's ok. We're you busy?" he asked, handing me the straightener."Nope, just rambling away in my stupid diary. You know you're going to need to get up." I laughed.He held his hand out, I grabbed it, and helped him up.I started to straighten his hair."You know I was thinking, that after Nick gets better if we do the rest of the tour until the album releases, then..." He trailed off and his face got red."Baby, what?" I smiled. He looked so cute"Would you like to get a house with me, and move in, like for good." he said looking down."Baby I would love to!" I giggled.We were living with Nick and Kevin longer then I could remember.We decided that night that we were going to have movie night. Just me and him.We fell asleep during Madagascar.We awoke however, to Kevin.We were going to go to the hospital that morning.I walked out of the hotel with a great feeling, hand in hand with Joe.
