My Interview with NHL Legend Garry Unger

Garry Unger was called the Iron Man because of his impressive 914 consecutive game playing streak in the NHL playing center for Detroit, St. Louis and Atlanta. This is currently the second longest streak in NHL history. Garry now coaches Junior League Hockey for the resurrected World Hockey Association Junior A Hockey League. I caught up with Mr. Unger at the Osoyoos, B.C. tryout camp and asked him for an interview. He was very gracious and easy to speak with.

If you’re not a hockey fan, you’re probably not aware of this team’s amazing 11-game winning streak. It’s the longest in the NHL this season and the most impressive run of consecutive victories since the New Jersey Devils won 11 in a row two years ago.
