Prior to purchasing our Global Resorts Membership, we toured (er, got tricked into) a timeshare presentation at the Mayan Palace in Puerto Vallarta. Wow... what an incredible place... Wow... what a horrible timeshare "no pressure" sales presentation (ick!!!). It started out fine. Nice breakfast, beautiful tour of the resort. But, then came in the "closers"... We could NOT get out of there. We had to go through 4 sales people before they'd let us leave. The tour was "supposed" to be 90 minutes... ours lasted 4 hours!!! They presented several options to buy... ranging from something like $170,000 down to about $10,000. By the time we got down to the lower figure, we just weren't hearing of it anymore. We literally felt sick. Anyway, we found our way of of there and enjoyed the rest of our vacation. After joining Global Resorts we noticed that we can stay their for ony $699 per week. Wow, sure glad we didn't buy the timeshare. Our membership lets us have the choice of thousands of resorts - worldwide! Check out http://www.betterwayvacations.net
