Tales of Hearts (テイルズオブハーツ, Teiruzu obu Hātsu?) is an upcoming game, and the eleventh mothership title in the Tales series exclusively for the Nintendo DS, which is scheduled to be released on December 18, 2008 in Japan. Tales of Hearts' characteristic genre name is To Meet With Hearts RPG (心と出会うRPG, Kokoro to deau RPG?). The producer is Hideo Baba, the director is Kazuhisa Oomi, the Scenario Writer is Naoki Yamamoto, and series veterans Mutsumi Inomata and Motoi Sakuraba will be the character designer and composer, respectively. The game will use 2D sprites, 3D backgrounds, and is the first entry in the series to use CG for the characters in event movies. The theme song, "Eien no Ashita" (永遠の明日, "Eien no Ashita"? "Eternal Tomorrow") will be performed by Deen, who previously performed Tales of Destiny's theme song. The game will be released in two versions: one using the animation, produced by Production I.G., and the other using the CG, produced by Shirogumi.

Here in the Honorable Mention playlist, i'll give reasons for my song choice.#10 - Star ocean 3: Till the End of TimeSong - Bitter DanceComposer - Motoi SakurabaNow some of you may hate this song, i know i did when i first heard the voice "raping" in the background. Outside of that slight annoyance, it's actually a really good song. However, it did not meet my rather strict requirements.

This is "Threatening Sky" off Tales of Phantasia soundtrack, written by Motoi Sakuraba. This is my first attempt at a guitar cover of a VG song. This is my own arrangement. Being my first attempt, please understand that I was breaking in some video editing software and so forgive me if it is a little wacked up. I was also using a basic recording program so I did not end up spending the time to get all the harmonies to line up perfectly. You will also notice that I have edited the audio tracks, so volumes of certain parts will change, but I kept the panning all the same through the track. The video might be a hundredth of a second off or so from the audio, because that is the finest resolution the editing software could manage.Again, this is my FIRST attempt at a guitar VG song cover. I promise my future vids will be of a much better quality. This actually did not take as long as I thought it would. The hardest part was writing the drum track. I used Guitar Pro (4) and exported the drums as a midi which is the best I can do. I hope to get the next few videos completed this week and online by next weekend (and FFIX song and another Tales of Phantasia song)P.S. Don't ask me what I am doing to my arm in the upper right frame durring the "Taking a Break" part. I think I had an itch :P
