Enjoy!Hey, Adri, did you get the English homework? Gisele asked, while she was in the process of opening her locker. I rolled my eyes wondering when Gisele would start paying attention to homework assignments. Yeah I got it. Sweet. Did you pay any attention? Yeah, I just missed the homework. Okay. Surprisingly, I could believe this that was just Gisele. Paying attention, committing everything to memory but when there were five minutes left of class, she just zoned out.I shoved my math book into my backpack, and was about to slam my locker shut, when I glanced at the picture on the inside of the locker. The picture was taken last summer, and it was of me and Gisele. We were sitting on a swing set, and laughing, her strawberry blonde hair pulled back in a ponytail, while my brown hair was long, loose, and flowing. We were both looking straight at the camera, Giseles blue eyes staring into the lens, looking as though she could see the future. My green eyes simply pierced the lens. I hadnt known what was going to happen yet. I quickly shook myself out of the memory, and shut the locker. Gisele already had hers shut, and together, we began to walk down the hall. Gisele immediately began talking. I cant believe were Ninth Graders! I mean, seriously! Think about it Adri! Ninth Graders! Our last year here! she squealed. Oh, and I cannot believe that . Suddenly all of Giseles chattering became strangely irrelevant. Because he was walking by. Not just anyone. This, this was Joseph Adam Jonas. I saw him smiling, showing all of his perfect white teeth. But, if I was honest with myself, it wasnt his smile that had first attracted me to him. It was his eyes. They were a gorgeous dark brown, with a mixture of green, creating a perfect hazel. His long black lashes framed them perfectly, and if you looked straight into them, it was as though you were looking into a sunset And his hair. God, where to begin? Long, straight, dark brown. Need I say anymore? He laughed again, talking to his younger brother what was his name? Nick. Yeah, that was right. I felt my head turning, following him, just wanting to watch him a bit longer Adri? Adri? Adrianna! I heard Giseles voice rising, but simply ignored it, after all, who cared what she was saying when Joseph Adam Jonas was laughing? Adrianna Demetra Johnson! That got my attention. What? Oh, sorry Have you even heard a word I said?Uh I frantically racked my brain for a memory of our previous conversation. Well, were ninth graders now Gisele rolled her eyes. He was walking by again, wasnt he? Who? You know who. Oh, him? No, I was just thinking about umm how stupid Mr. Simms is for giving us that huge geography report. Gisele sighed again. Whatever, Adrianna. I took a deep breath, and shifted my backpack. Gisele turned her head again. Wait. Mr. Simms assigned as a huge geography report?
