The game export function in Face Robot converts the motions from the facial solver to envelope weight values and Null bone movement and rotation values that can be used in the game engine. The first step is to use the paint function to define the Null bone positions for the game models. Then, Face Robot automatically calculates the optimum envelope value for the motion and reproduces the facial expression deformation using the Null bone movement and rotation.Although the number varies from character to character, an average of 50 bones were used in the faces of the Ninja Gaiden 2 characters.
