greetings youtube! what better than with this very novice vid. i went to vote at my place, early, and i walk through the doors. then this guy stops me and asks; "whats your name?"i wait for 5 seconds then ask him who he is. he asked for my name again in reply. i called foul and asked the nice vote worker ladies who this guy was and i said he isnt allowed to do this. they brushed me off.i videoed my vote and that went well. but then i had the power of the lens speakin to me. this guy did this to every one that voted! the whole time we were voting...in the same room....fairly loudly. so my and my spidey sense went "oh well", and turned it on the guy as i was walkin out. he has two voters stopped...asking for their names and party affiliations...BEFORE THEY VOTED! i asked his name again......he waved me off and said have a nice day. the mercer county courthouse elections office said this morning that they had no one at the polling place yesterday. "no office employees were at, or are allowed, in the voting rooms during voting."i owe all my subscribers a bit of me since i've gotten so much from all yall.Exit Polling?Yes, under the following conditions:Pollsters are not permitted in the voting room; Pollsters are not permitted to ask question of a voter until the voter has left the voting room; Pollsters must inform the voters that their participation in the poll is voluntary; and Pollsters are not permitted to electioneer and therefore are not subject to electioneering limits. Behind the fancy speeches, the grand promises, the TV specials -- lies the truth...[ OCTOBER 2008 ]------------------------------------------John McCain to make appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' tonight :Live from New York, it's John McCain.John McCain will appear tonight on Saturday Night Live, the late-night show that has been a must-watch for many during the political season. It might get a little awkward since the host is actor Ben Affleck, a supporter of Democratic candidate Barack Obama. The musical guest is singer David Cook. When McCain's running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, appeared on the show Oct. 18, SNL earned its best ratings in 14 years. McCain, 72, last appeared on Saturday Night Live in May after clinching the nomination. He was a host in 2002. : [ November 1, 2008 ]--------------------------------------God gap: No gain for Obama with churchgoers: Barack Obama has courted white weekly churchgoers as avidly as any Republican-leaning bloc of voters, though it now appears his efforts may fall flat on Election Day.The Gallup Poll now shows Obama backed by 28 percent of white voters who attend church at least once a week — a group that makes up a roughly a third of all voters — which would be no improvement from the 29 percent of these voters who, according to exit polls, backed Democrats John Kerry and Al Gore in the previous two presidential election. There has been remarkably little change among whites in the religion gap, said John Green, of the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life and a top specialist on the convergence of religion and politics. No Democratic nominee in the modern day has made more of an effort to court religious voters than Obama. Jimmy Carter, a Southern evangelical, was the last Democrat to narrowly contest weekly church-going voters in a two-man race. But where Carter attempted to deemphasize his faith in the 1976 campaign, Obama has repeatedly returned to his faith to narrow the so-called God gap that has dogged Democrats for decades. The party's primary saw repeated and unprecedented events emphasizing faith, such as the Compassion Forum a little more than a week before the Pennsylvania vote. In the general election, in no less unprecedented form, the first event attended by the two candidates was not a presidential debate but a forum on religion and cultural politics at an evangelical megachurch. It was at that mid-August event at Rick Warrens Saddleback Church in Orange County, Calif., that Obama said it was above my pay grade to define when a fetus gains human rights, while McCain quickly replied, At the moment of conception. For social conservative leader Richard Land, Obamas response encapsulated why Democrats have failed to make inroads with highly religious white voters. Its abortion, Land replied when the Gallup data was read to him.I think pro-choice people in this culture have absolutely no idea of the depth and intensity of the moral outrage of the people who are pro-life, Land said. They think that conservatives use it only as a wedge issue. There is no other way to explain it than Obamas position on the issues, particularly the issue of life, said Tony Perkins, president of the conservative Family Research Council.Perkins and Land both said that the religious fissure is also deeper than any one issue, even abortion, and rooted in philosophical outlooks that still define the publics view of both parties. [ Politico.com 11-01-08 ]--------------------------------------breaking news : Obama's ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT FAMILY MEMBER exposed ! :Barack Obama did not know a relative was living in the United States illegally for the past nearly four years prior to today's Associated Press report, "but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed," the campaign said Saturday in a statement. The Democratic nominee last heard from Zeituni Onyango, who attended his swearing-in ceremony to the U.S. Senate in 2005 and is a half-sister of Obama's late father, two years ago, when she called to say she was in Boston, the campaign said. Campaign officials said they did not assist her in getting a tourist visa and had not known that she was living in America.News of Onyango's legal status, which the AP confirmed through sources, including a federal law enforcement official, provided an unwelcome diversion for the Obama campaign during its final push toward Election Day and stoked suspicions among supporters of a political motive behind the timing of the leak. WASHINGTON: First official exit poll data suggests Democrat triumph after projected Obama win in battleground state of Pennsylvania.

Barack Obama to Win Pennsylvania and Six Other States; McCain to Win Okla., Tenn., and S.C., ABC News Projects Based on Exit Polls and Votes Counted so Far..
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Barack_Obama_to_Win_Pennsylvania_and_Six_Other_States
Early exit polls give Barack Obama the lead over Arizona Sen. John McCain in the presidential swing states of Virginia, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, Ohio and Nevada. Obama has double-digit leads in those five states, according to early exit polls.
http://digg.com/business_finance/Early_exit_polls_give_Obama_the_edge_Phoenix_Business_Jour
Obama up by only 4% in Pennsylvania, 2% in Va. This is significant because the 2004 exit polls exaggerated the Democratic advantage. It could be close.
http://digg.com/politics/Exit_polls_on_election_running_tighter_than_last_polls
Only swing state he might pull out is Virginia, where he's down only 4%. Pennsylvania is out of reach. Colorado is out of reach.Basically, if Obama takes Virginia or Florida, plus Pennsylvania, it's all over at that moment. And as Jane said: Shorter Nate "exit polls are crap".
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Nate_Silver_on_Olbermann_Swing_States_Not_Good_for_McPalin
In 2004, Kerry was ahead in the exit polls in PA. by about 9%, but only won by 2%. Why shouldn't it be worse this year?
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/The_Problem_Is_That_McCain_May_Actually_Win_Pennsylvania
The Irving Berlin tune "The Song Is Ended (But the Melody Lingers On)" captures the aftermath of Pennsylvania's Democratic primary, though the tune that's slow in parting is more of a sour note than a sweet sound. It is the exit poll in which 1 in 10 white Pennsylvania voters said a candidate's race mattered.
http://digg.com/2008_us_elections/Poll_is_sad_Clinton_s_deception_about_Farrakhan_is_worse
According to CNN exit polls in Pennsylvania, 50% of Clinton supporters won't vote for Obama if he's the nominee. What the hell is going on?
http://digg.com/politics/Poll_Position
The God Gap may turning against Barack Obama in the Democratic primaries. Buried within the exit polls from Pennsylvania are some signs that Barack Obama's appeal may worsening with culturally conservative regular churchgoers.
http://digg.com/political_opinion/A_God_Gap_for_Obama
Paul’s result is impressive - irritating that MSNBC apparently didn’t bother to run an exit poll. Mike Huckabee, who has actually dropped out, got 11% too. This continuing Republican revulsion has to be bad news for McCain.
