The coolest part of the trip there was that there was a baby black vulture chillin' around its nest which was right next to the captive vulture enclosure. Pretty cool

Most people are aware of the controversy created when professional golfer Tripp Isenhour killed a red-shouldered hawk by intentionally hitting golf balls at it. Isenhour’s claim that he was merely trying to scare the bird away and that it was a million-to-one shot seem unlikely at best and a blatant lie at worst.

According to court documents, Isenhour got upset when the red-shouldered hawk began making noise, forcing another take. He began hitting balls at the bird, then 300 yards away, but gave up. Isenhour started again when the hawk moved within about 75 yards, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officer Brian Baine indicated in a report.
