Movie "The Way We Were"(1973)- Directed by Sydney Pollack. With Barbra Streisand, Robert Redford, Bradford Dillman and more others..The Way We Were is a 1973 American film which tells the story of Katie Morosky, an intense Jewish woman, who marries Hubbell Gardiner, a carefree but talented WASP, following World War II.Two desperate people have a wonderful romance, but their political views and convictions drive them apart.Striesand and Redford are perfectly cast and their characters are ones in which viewers will grow to love and care about. Many viewers will also appreciate the realistic ending.This is a beautiful film !!!
