This is a video dedicated to the iconic hero of the Mushroom Kingdom and recognizeable face for Nintendo: Mario. As an 80's kid, Mario is as meaningful to me as Santa Claus is to my nieces and nephew. But as a gamer, I also know that without him we wouldn't be with the gaming industry we have today.The video also shows that Mario isn't just confined to the basic platformer, venturing off into numerous mediums including sports, kart racing, and *slightly cringes* even DDR.... But considering he was also the referee in Punch Out, I can let it slide.Clips are taken from GameTrailers.com, as usual. Purists may notice the absence of one particular mainstream Mario game: Super Mario Sunshine. Trust me, as my own biggest critic and purist, I didn't forget it. I scoured the depths of the internet, utilizing every major gaming media site around, and none could deliver a single video for SMS without compromising visual quality or emblazoning a giant logo on it. So sadly, for the greater good, I had to let it go. If you were a fan of Sunshine as I was, you have my apologies.Music is "Don't Stop Me Now" from Queen, a song I felt very fitting for a guy that just doesn't know when to quit.
