While cutting social services, health care, education, etc., the BC Liberal government is at the same time providing billions of dollars to construction companies & other Olympic-related industries. The capitalists are making millions, while the poor are literally dying in the urban & reservation ghettos.The SPP is an undemocratic partnership between Canada, the US, and Mexico that aims to make advantageous conditions for transnationalcorporations at the expense of working people; expropriate and exploit natural resources and oil; and create Fortress North America borders around Mexico and Canada. The SPP will specifically reduce jobs, target unionized labour and further the exploitation non-status people.The G8 leadership summit calls for deregulating financial markets to allow for corporations to profit off of the current global financial crisis.The G8 leaders aim to further deepen reliance on a global food trading system that has driven the poorest people off their land and undermined developing countries' ability to feed themselves.NO Olympics on Stolen Native Land!NO to the SPP!NO to the G8!
